  1. I can never ever remember any issues, or having to keep a copy of paper registers "just in case" Just had our ticket updated. The query you raised under XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX requires a software fix to be implemented by the Software Escalation Team. Also changed the system to Database in the ticket, could be in for the long haul here....
  2. A few have said that they know cannot see their registers, I have just tried logging in and the portal will not load for me, I wonder if someone is switching it off and on again.
  3. Just reading a comment, that some users who have limited access but include cover officer do not see the issues and are able to carry on.
  4. Same, no modules showing. Registers ok if you are timetabled and can click the link on your home page, apart from that, nadda. EDIT- Looks like the community portal is also broken, I was going to watch the comments as it usually provides some good entertainment. It does eventually load for me now after about 5 minutes.
  5. Also to try (especially if filtering is involved) is to do developer tools in chrome and then network view, see if you can spot any slow downs. You can drill down quite a bit and look at points where things are slow to respond for web browsing at least anyway.
  6. Can confirm, I had 2 devices doing this, and the new intel drivers have fixed the issue. Both were AX201's.
  7. My thoughts entirely, But I am sure Microsoft wouldnt allow it to say it if it wasnt true, I wouldnt use it on user devices, but for the weather station it will do for now.
  8. Recently done an upgrade to an older i3 machine to Windows 11 (it only hosts our weather station) I did ask co-pilot, and it seems to be they dont mind older gen CPU's as long as they have a TPM2.0 chip. Its response was - Perfect — that’s actually a very good position to be in. Your Core i3‑6100T (6th‑gen Skylake) is unsupported only because of Microsoft’s CPU allow‑list, not because of TPM. Since you already have TPM 2.0, upgrading to Windows 11 is straightforward and relatively low‑risk. Below is the best approach specifically for your hardware. ✅ Your Situation (Summary) ✅ TPM 2.0 present → excellent ✅ Likely supports UEFI & Secure Boot ❌ CPU unsupported (Intel 6th gen) → artificial block ✅ Windows 11 runs very well on i3‑6100T in practice ➡ You only need to bypass the CPU check
  9. Suprise suprise, Just roll a dice.
  10. From what she was telling me that is blanket confusion on most things at the moment. Said there has been staffing changes in europe which isnt helping. I did see yesterday whilst using outlook online that copilot summary button has appeared. (rarely use it, still hanging on to Office 21 LTSC) If you have 1700 in Entra cannot see that being an issue as far as it goes, but recommendation is to speak to your licence provider. I would assume this limit would be automatically applied and not like the usual, roughly whats your FTE approach.
  11. We also did this with the PA3 in a paging group. I have now installed a full Audiebant PA and lockdown solution so it has been made redundant. Also moving from 3CX to YeaStar over the summer and that has a similar feature built in. Anyone after a PA3 and some 100 volt line amps let me know
  12. I spoke to our licence supplier on another matter this morning and mentioned this. They understand its based on users in Entra with a form of Entra or O365 licence assigned, any user that does counts as 1.
  13. Just seen an updated client for V2 has been released on the portal. I have pushed this out as well, it couldnt be any worse. So far it seems to make end points more responsive and thumbnails in thumbnail view seem to be much better. Version number is 2026.4.13.1 Cannot see any notices or changelists so must have just been pushed out.
  14. For us using vanilla 365 exhange, basically rules limit them to internal send and receive only, apart from a few white listed incoming domains for signing up to systems for school purposes. Also have a rule that sends all sent and received to a shared mailbox, myself, safeguarding and IT teachers have access to that account so any "issues" can be very quickly investigated
  15. It seems there are many ways to go about this and achieve sort of the end goal, typical Intune and Microsoft. Personally this way we do a very basic MDT deployment (have also do this with OSDisk but MDT is preffered) that installs Windows 11 and just gets the device to the OOBE screen. I then use Hardware ID into autopilot to pre-prevision the device. In that pre previsioning some apps are installed but is also joined into AD group, based on its group in autopilot. I prefer the control of using Hardware ID's as there maybe some machines I do not yet want to join to Entra/Ad but as base devices.
  16. Just getting reports of this now our end, effecting teams mainly. I have noticed that Action1 have not yet approved the 102 update, it must be browsers updating themselves.
  17. Id say HR, The need to enter salary details, contracts and other things that should remain private.
  18. Probably, we all are but I have now learnt to not let it get to me. These incidents could be the downfall of their business in the long term. These systems come and go and in years to come we will be "do you remember Bromcom and when they sold out, yeah a bit like having to tap F7 with a floppy disk to install raid drivers with Windows XP". I have had tickets sit for over 12 months with Bromcom and no progress happens then suddenly that issue if fixed in the next update or release. Maybe they could do with hiring a communications expert for a while to improve communications both in and out.
  19. To be fair, its more so user experience. A minor issue, but one that proves huge for our situation is the removal of the day and night mode. Issues with Yealink devices (maybe not 3cx's fault) including the time bug. The last 2 updates broke our system, luckily our cloud provider backs up with Veeam so just restored the instance. From what I gather even the vendor support is pretty dire, still have no answers to our update issues. The reason we went for 3cx Enterprise back when we did was mainly down to the fact we used it also as a lock down system and tannoy with paging gateways. Since having Audiebant installed last summer this part is now redundant and we basically are back to a pain jane basic phone system. The renewal for 3cx has just come in and it has doubled so looking to exit as soon as possible. Dont get me wrong, most of the time 3cx has been usable. However the price doubling is a bit of a non starter.
  20. Morning, I wonder if anyone has recently made the change from 3CX cloud hosted to Yeastar cloud hosted. Looking at making the switch, 3CX has been awful since .20 update and has not improved much since. We have all Yealink devices so hoping the transition is pretty smooth. Any issues to look out for? Thanks,
  21. Afternoon, Anyone else running the latest gen 5 Smart MX panels. Pretty much every room we use Smart MX 275 devices. 75% Are Gen 3 and Gen 4's whilst the latest upgrades are Gen 5's. Today, I reached a milestone, each of our Gen 5's have now all been swapped under warranty, 3 of them have been swapped twice and one of them maybe approaching a third. Majority of the issues seem to stem from the Android hardware in the devices, where they become un-useable and no firmware or reset's will help at all. Most annoy faults we have seen is where they randomly start up in the middle of the night for no reason. The failure we had today was a complete screen failure so something different for a change. Speaking to the AV installers who come out to these screens they dont seem suprised at all, even to the point where they dont even bother trying to replicate the fault and they just straight swap. Its a shame, yes they are the expensive end of the market but I find *(found) the hardware to be of great quality, screens always perform well in which ever room they sit in and I have some 65inch screens that are over 12 years old and still going strong. Anyone else using the MX 275's Gen 5 and had a similar experience?
  22. Feel the pain, only being a single site maybe not as much. For the broadcasting we have to deploy an EXE called Senso Direct Broadcast on both the sending and receiving machines. Since doing this it has worked without fault, at least I have not heard about it. There are issues with remote control and remote thumbnails which have been there since we migrated back in September last year to V2. I have been trying to do some remote control of loads of devices today, running a custom script to grad hardware hashes of a load of devices and gave up after a while, went back to straight RDP and action 1 on the machines that I have setup on. Support have been good when needed, even if not much can be done at the moment. The remote thumbnails is a pain for me as its very handy keeping an eye on a couple of student student devices, the amount I have seen "off track" is interesting.
  23. I can help summarise. It was broke You made it worse We fixed it all was better.
