  1. Wow, you shock me. You mean you do not miss having to download ZIP files from the county SIMS team and try and get SOLUS to update!
  2. I would say this, I have experience of using Police 365 accounts and they have all sorts of DPA policies. You can bypass as a user by removing some of the security tags from the email, however if they then send information that is against their policy they could land themselves with an ear bashing from someone in professional standards. Maybe ask them to send a test email and remove the sensitive marked, in the force I use it in the tag is called "not sensitively marked" and another "external use only"
  3. Interesting solution. Assuming that this is injected into the autopilot stage, and also relies on the device being on prem with an open shared CSV to read?
  4. Spoke to soon, they are now out as well. And just as I was praising the release of the updated student app which now fixes the SSO issue and gets rid of the awful magic tokens.
  5. The fact that some of our users are seeing no issues yet some are would maybe point to it being a load balancing issues or a subset of servers. I am currently locked out but someone around the corner is happily doing behaviour points and detentions, in fact has just printed a report too.
  6. Morning all, I know the official answer is no, and its not suggested however for operational reasons at the moment I need to stick with hybrid joining devices. I have been testing sucessfully autopiloting a device, and then getting it entra and the hybrid domain join then taking place. All works nicely. However as part of this procedure devices are given a random name after my choice of a prefix based on its deployment profile. Whilst this works in an ideal world I would have the devices named specifically for locating them, assigning them and managing them with other tools such as Senso. I have done some reasearch and in theory it can be done by renaming the device locally and on AD, which entra connect will then within 10 minutes or so pick up and change the name in Intune and Entra. I have done this with a test device with an awfully complicated and long winded powershell script, which if I had to do for each machine would take far too long. I am not sure if anyone else has played with this but I have had a few theories. Remove the hybrid join stage from the deployment, get devices entra joined, rename them here and then hybrid join (if it can be delayed from the autopilot process) Try and tweak then powershell script to make it a bit more autonomous, looking to co pilot for this. In theory, I could leave them named as they are but its going to create much work going forwards that hitting it at deployment might be the best way.
  7. All of my reports completed this morning, waiting for the phone to start ringing.....
  8. No point popping into laddie's on the way home then.
  9. I wonder what the odd's are for issues in the morning?
  10. Usually the way with anything handy
  11. Its not often I look into something, without actively looking for it and then switch into Iris to see whats in the budget
  12. Thanks so much for that. I have looked at NinjaOne before, I can see as a large school or MAT that could come into its own. I will do some more research into Action1
  13. Morning all., I have seen Action1 mention in this forum and other on EG. I wasnt actively looking but reading some of the comments on its uses it looks like it may tick some boxes and save me time, and help with some recommendations from our very recent cyber audit. A couple of questions I couldnt see on their website. -Will it allow you to deploy apps that are not in its repository. -How does it interact with Windows Update policies from Intune, take over the policy or would any windows update policies need removing. -Can it be deployed by Intune for deployment to machines -Can it automate complicance reports? -Any bad interactions with Sophos InterceptX If you have any experience of this would be great. I have over 200 endpoints so requested a quote, be interesting to see the pricing structure. Any pro's and con's greatly received. Thanks,
  14. New Incident: Performance issues A new incident has been reported that may affect the services you're subscribed to. Incident Performance issues Severity Major Incident Affected Resources Bromcom MIS Cloud UK Description We are aware of performance issues affecting some users this morning. This is under urgent investigation.
  15. What happened yesterday, didnt see any issues this way?
  16. Yes, looks like its MIS wide. Lots of reports on the community page now coming in but nothing official from Bromcom.
  17. Thats quite true, everything sits very happily on my Amazon Ero 6 Pro's and runs at the full 900mbps when I need it from my FTTP connection
  18. Need to be caeful with FSM updates, yes it doesnt have to be daily. However, its one of those things that can easily be forgotten. Yes it does read as Bromcom are removing it, however not having any reasoning for the removal makes it hard to judge. Just checked with our catering provider and they only list ParentPay as their provider so rules out MCAS in the short - medium term.
  19. Its not even MISSync, its an intergration built in to ParentPay that has a 3rd Party User account, and at 10am every morning it logs in and gets the data it needs. At the time we moved to Bromcom it seemed almost in front of the times without having to use MISSync as we did with SIMS or a 3rd party such as GroupCall. Not much we can do and both sides are being quiet on why this is happening.
  20. Our catering system (Tali) only links to ParentPay at the moment, a newish adventure. I cannot see any traction in anyone wanting to move away from ParentPay so looks like were are stuck with it for now.
  21. Wish it was an option but we are stuck with ParentPay for a while yet.
  22. Not sure if anyone else has seen this, but at the end of the year PayPal will no longer be supporting automatic data syncs with Bromcom. I have asked them for reasons for this and got to replies. Looks like this going forward will have to be a manual sync, thats going to be fun for someone to remember to log in dialy and push a sync. Anyone else in the same boat? You would begin to think this is some MIS war between ParentPay and Bromcom, making life difficult for each other. https://community.bromcomcloud.com/announcements/post/parentpay-integration-page-removal-jan-2026-r4djMNaJWUwx32M?_cldee=wzVd5T2HPiA6s6x0YhaMnZPArXx8IdzaLGBAuixISAY7BfmvseiSSuS04Nw0BcfS_OeuzgepDa0qnDU6WhnUkA&recipientid=contact-03e84da061b2ef11b8e8000d3a0b412e-f5fd6f07ed0f450ba4ae891a6cfd36b6&esid=39eb2265-d4b4-f011-bbd3-7ced8d6ca6ae
  23. All good here.
  24. Is the web version of teams not useable, I find I have migrated to that now as the full app is just an annoyance.
