  1. All, Hope you are well and settling back into the new year. Good Luck We use google workspace and all emails for a domain for everyone are going into spam. If I added the domain as trusted on the admin side and a SPAM email was to come from that domain would it be blocked? I hope that makes sense! Kind regards 5nowman
  2. I want to thank everyone for their help. Hope some of you are spending time to enjoy the sun. 5nowman!
  3. Changes made their end on how the website handles multiple http requests/ object and it seems to have worked. Still being tested. No timeouts now. Much much faster. It wasn't DNS lol 😆
  4. This is interesting. Glad you resolved it. One of the things I did to t roubleshoot our issue was put a manual dns resolution on the smooothwall itself like a windows host file. This is bad long term but good for troubleshooting. in my case this didn't make a difference as our issue was something else
  5. dns changed on workstation to bypass forwarding to router. 8.8.8.8 - fail - site slow 8.8.4.4 - fail - site slow 9.9.9.9 - fail - site slow 1.1.1.1 - fail - site slow. refreshed cache after each dns change. incognito window - chrome. closed and opened after changing dns ip. behaviourwatch https://eduspot.co.uk/behaviourwatch/ loads ok.. when you sign it, the page changes to the server https://gb6.behaviourwatch.co.uk/ and it takes FOREVER to load... does time out or sometimes loads slow.
  6. We only have 1 external IP else I Would have tested it incase it was behaviourwatch blocking that ip address. this would have been the perfect test. I might even find out how much it costs to get an extra external ip address.
  7. I cannot connect directly bypassing the smoothwall as this will kick everyone off and we are going to have to schedule it for half term c oming up.
  8. Hi.. going to try some of those dns a a physical entry on a workstation... this should in theory bypass the dns on smoothwall.
  9. Just want to say thank you too for testing it. everything is still slow for that site. company has washed their hands of it and said it is not a fault on their end.
  10. Hi. What size chromebooks are you looking at? Can range from chromebooks to chromebooks plus which can be 16inch with full keyboards. 5nowman
  11. Firewall on AV on. Will rebuild after anyway. Never taking a risk.
  12. Thank you. That is a good site! Everything keeps pointing to timeouts to .js and then subsequant other pages thereafter. Bringing down the internet at this time to test dns bypassing smoothwall fully etc is not an option I will be cloning the smoothwall external ip etc to a laptop and physically unplug the smoothwall to test out speeds with no man in the middle at all. Any views on this? The laptop will get attacked I know but this has to be done.
  13. Have had such a horrible time with this all week with behavourwatch smoothwall etc. Support has been decent from the ISP and behaviourwatch however neither could find the fault. Escalted to smoothwall direct today. I checked on our smoothwall our smoothwall is set to: 1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8, 9.9.9.9 which seems ok right....
  14. thank you . will DM you the ticket number. Are we saying different ISPS are having different delay times?
  15. 5 seconds?!? That is long! The page has loads of objects and if there js a 5 second delay that could be it! What isp are you testing it from?
