Ive rescued a mates domain from some dodgy local host who offered a 'geocities' style website. Ive managed to take control of the domain and all the DNS stuff for him. Im currently hosting the webpage for him and willing to so goingon. I do not on the other hand possess any skills to design his site for him. He runs a dog washing mobile van in a smalll town, so budget for help is minimal. We have text and photos for a website, just need some help putting it together. Some sort of easliy maintianed CMS preferrably.

@Norphy what speed does backup exec show when it is doing that? Ive only got about 400 mailboxes and 180gb of data is going at 180MB/min according to bexec..

Do i not need GRT to restore an individual email? No AV on the exchange server. the granular backup wasnt causing OWA errors on the previous 2007 install on a lesser server. Edit: where can I check what the 'load' is? resource monitor shows minimal network and minimal disk usage on the exchange 2010 box

Also it seems we are getting "Server is busy" errors from the OWA while the backups are running, what is causing this, what should I be checking?

from what i understand from watching the US crime shows on TV, theres a law that says is something happens while in the act of another crime, then a maximum penalty applies. There are loads of exaplles (from tv shows) I can cite, and I would like to think they reflect real law. Point is, if me and you get into a fight in a pub, or over something trivial like you kissed my girl etc, and I punch you, and you fall to the deck and die from hitting your head, then for sure that is manslaugher. Your mother will hate me for it and class me a murderer. My mohter would do the same if it was you. If I had punched you and you had died I would live the rest of my life feeling dreadful. Point is, the act of the death occured whilst in the midst of other crimes. In the USA ( from TV) these crimes compound. So the fact I punched you whilst I was committing other crimes, should compound. On the flip side, screw it... lets go looting and get some free stuff and punch anyone that gets in our way.

I used my recent upgrade to 2010 which broke BES to tell all two of our users who have a blackberry and I was having to run a whole entire other server for that they were no longer supported and to get a new phone

Ive discovered a problem with my live@edu / ILM implementation and Im not entirely sure how to fix it. Checking the logs of recent syncs, there is about 10 staff accounts who are not being created properly. We use OnPremise Exchange for the staff, and only use ILM to create them as MailUser with their OnPremise email address as their Live ID, we dont create them a MailBox. The error in the logs is this: Microsoft.MetadirectoryServices.ExtensibleExtensionException: Windows Live ID "[email protected]" already exists as an EASI ID. To import the Windows Live ID, use the ImportLiveID parameter. To evict the Windows Live ID, use the EvictLiveID parameter. at Microsoft.Exchange.XmaConnector.XmaExceptionManager.ReportErrorToILM(String errorMessage, ILMExceptionType errorType, XmaErrorCategory errorCategory) at Microsoft.Exchange.XmaConnector.MAExtension.IlmMAExtension.ExportEntry(ModificationType modificationType, String[] changedAttributes, CSEntry csentry) Out of about 600 staff which have been created as MailUser, there is about 10 that have this error. Im hoping someone like @jamesbmarshall might please be able to help

Is there a way this can be implemented into a shared-PC environment. From initial testing it creates a local folder which syncs to the skydrive. Great for me on my desktop. But if for example I want all the students to have their skydrives mapped like this when they log in. Is there a way to make the app sync with their network folders or such?
