  1. I've had good success with z-a recovery. free version recovers images but you have to buy it to recover other files.
  2. It just so happens i have a 3d printer and blue filament so might be able to help you out. Depending on size required.
  3. i would suggest both the CCENT will teach you the basics around networking and the theory a lot of it is transferable to other switch brands although the commands may be different. Microsoft will teach you usable skills too.

Easy one, set up a group in Active Directory (if you already have one set for pupil s use that) then add that group to the Deny Log on Locally section of the group policy object for the computers its under "Computer Configuration>Windows Settings>Security Settings>Local Policies>User Rights Assignments"
  9. those IP addresses are public ones and as FN-GM said the IP addresses you listed were a little off, you can assign any IP address in the 10.x.x.x 172.16.x.x or 192.x.x.x rang for your internal network including switches.
  10. I asked the same question when we had it installed. There is no way of obtaining usage statistics from the gateway. I'd be interested in finding an answer if there is one too.
  11. They might have actually set a hdd password. might be worth removing to see if laptop then boots to bios.
  12. if they have set a background colour as well as an image, the colour takes precedence.
  13. we use a dymo label printer and have Cab1-001 ect on it and Cab2-001 do determin what trolley our laptops belong in. we stick in on the very edge of the laptop screen and it is easily visible when they are in the trolley.

  20. It looks like you just need the sas cables to join the backplane to the smart array to me. The sata cables in place already are not for the sas bays but most likely for dvd drive etc.
  21. Are you putting a username of domain\administrator or just administrator in the user box? If the latter it probably cant authenticate.
  22. Dont forget you can blanket fill present marks and then just change absent ones.... i know capita have a tool to do this as we've just had our data converted to sims and they did our attendance marks. Not sure if there is another easier way of doing this though.
  23. grant the send on behalf permission on brians mailbox for carol and use the "from" box in outlook on a new message?
