  3. I don't think disabling a policy reverts the changes made. you might need to find what setting is causing it and change that.

  8. you need windows 8 or server 2012 to manage ie10 group policy preferences.
  9. have you tried putting the ipaddress into a web browser to see if you can connect to it?

  12. If you know a particular user that is receiveing emails to that address you could check what groups they are a member of in AD. Distribution groups will show up and will give you somewhere to start looking.
  13. Thats why i have iblacklist on my iphone (you have to jailbreak it to install it though), if their number isn't on the allowed list they can't call me. stops all the unwanted sales call etc too.

  18. yes in group policy go to computer config\policies\windows settings\security settings\file system for windows 7 we have %allusersprofile%\adobe and C:\ Windows\system32\macromed\ we added authenticated users will full control of these folders
  19. you could try audacity, its free and might do what you ask. i know you're ok to use music for lessons etc but don't know about putting it on the school website.

  21. yes that is normal behaviour, we have set up a different account for accessing mailboxes etc.
  22. we have it running on windows 7 under compatibility (xp service pack2) i don't remember installing anything else to get it running.

  24. it does but you are using a sims application to run the patch so you need to log in as a sims user
  25. I'd imagine it is due to the sa account being the sql database admin account and not a sims.net admin thus will not have the correct permisssions. All upgrades etc are run using a sims.net account that has system manager rights. You only use the sa account for attaching and detaching the database itself.
