did you add the smart host to the smtp connector after removing it from the virtual server?
-
glad you got it working
-
have you checked the permission groups on the exchange 2010 recieve connector? i'm assuming there are no event logs showing a problem? theres some helpfull info here too http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/exchangesvrtransport/thread/61521f42-d031-475d-abe1-35350dd01e23

thats is exactly the same problem we had. try disabling the antivirus and see if they then send.
-
ok, we had a problem with mcaffee stopping emails on the server, but may not be that. i'd take a look at the receive connector on the exchange 2010 server under server config/ hub transport. i'd also take a look at the relay settings on exchange 2003.
-
what antivirus are you using on the exchange server?
-
i've recently done the same move. I found this guide helpfull rapid-transition-guide-from-exchange-2003-to-exchange-2010.pdf

we've done something similar although we haven't changed subnets. join the machine to the domain, add the group and disconnect it from the domain. make all of your changes and take an image. when a pc with this image is joined to the domain it still has the local admins group that had been added.

its true, i had the same issue. it wont activate if there isn't a flag in the bios You receive an error message when you try to activate Windows Vista or Windows 7 on a computer that was obtained from an OEM

yeah thats me flying it is possible to use tailbooms for quads but they're easily bent being thin walled aluminium. i had a go at quadcopters too, built one using carbon fibre plate and 10mm square aluminium box from b&q used the kk controller and it flew pretty well, i lost orientation too easily on it so i gave up. i've still got the kk board and programmer for it somewhere.

i used to fly rc helicopters and now fly mainly planes, quite liked the look of the ar drone but the range is quite limited for what i can gather. heres a video of me flying and an amature competition a couple of years ago.

i'm pretty sure i've always just typed in the server name on its own. might be worth checking the time and date on the machine in question as I've had similar problems caused by that.

we had a similar problem where our projector software was turning off the hardware acceleration which turns off features like cloning etc. for windows 7 its 1. Open Screen Resolution by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, and then, under Appearance and Personalization, clicking Adjust screen resolution. 2. Click Advanced settings. 3. Click the Troubleshoot tab, and then click Change settings. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. 4. Move the Hardware Acceleration slider to Full. for windows xp 1. open display properties in control pannel and click on the settings tab. 2. Click Advanced settings. 3. Click the Troubleshoot tab, and then click Change settings. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. 4. Move the Hardware Acceleration slider to Full.

i doubt its the plugs, they won't cause the engine management light to come on, going from experience i'd say its the coil pack (the device that replaced the distributor) these do fail from time to time

you might find it is enabled by the local group policy under computer configuration>windows settings> security settings>local policies>security options>interactive logon: message text for users attempting to log on. if you don't know how to run the group policy editor instructions are here How To Use the Group Policy Editor to Manage Local Computer Policy in Windows XP

Netgear router overheating?
glen_j replied to johnkerr's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
yes it is possible, my netgear did the same and eventually wouldn't connect to the internet at all, went out and bought a new one all working fine, the router was around 5 years old when it finally packed up -
yeah i have just done exactly the same thing, after you install rsat on the windows 7 pc you can edit and create windows 7 group policy settings from the windows 7 pc, you'll also need to create a central store for your group policy templates How to create a Central Store for Group Policy Administrative Templates in Window Vista

i have 2 of these @plexer that we use in our hall they work perfectly, there is also one that does the sound too
-
it does sound like they might be faulty if you've tried the between a pc and monitor (assuming when the monitor is plugged into said pc it works correctly), we use these 150m VGA Extenders Free Delivery : Monitor Splitters Selectors : Maplin and they're pretty good
