I had trouble replacing a headlight bulb last week. Lack of space between the engine components and the back of the headlight made it extremely difficult to change the bulb if you had the hand of an adult (no doubt the factories of Peugeot all use tiny hands of child labour!). Anyway, the spring which holds the bulb to the headlight unit fell off and inside the unit. No amount of reaching and poking around would get it, and you have to remove the front bumper if you want to take the headlight off. So I went to get a replacement from the dealers: Dealer: "Yeah, its a common problem, we get loads of people doing that." Me: "So, how much for the clip" Dealer: "Oh sorry, we don't sell them, you have to buy the complete headlight". So off to the scrappy to get one for 50p!

The biggest negative of owning a Scooby is that everyone will think you're a tw@, regardless of who you are and how good the car is - mainly because of the muppets who drive around in the ones which look like they've been stolen from the Paris - Dakar rally! There's plenty of free and royalty-free MP3 music out there. The teachers argument that the presentation about Justin Bieber then doesn't make sense if Bieber music isn't used, but to me that just reinforces the rules that they can't just go around plagiarising without thinking of the consequences. Do we have any xbox hard drive upgraders on here? I'm looking to replace the 20Gb one in my 360, but was wondering what will be suitable. Most of the online guides talk about a 120Gb drive, but I think that's because that was the largest drive which was available at the time of writing. I can get a WD 250Gb drive for £26 at the minute, but if it will take anything larger would rather put in the biggest I can.

I use Aldi's version of the Belkin USB Videobus. Works perfectly. Although I would much prefer my old Plextor ConvertX.

We partition the hard drives and give them access to the non-system partition.

We had a bulb fail in an NEC VT575 projector yesterday. We were quite surprised as we keep a close eye on all projectors and their usage and the bulb was only 9 months old and done less than 900 hours. I contacted NEC who said:

I'm trying to implement desktop restrictions on staff roaming profiles but encountering a couple of issues. I've used XCACLS on the desktop folder in their server copy of the profile to prevent them from writing: %LOGONSERVER%\Netlogon\xcacls "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop" /P "%USERDOMAIN%\%USERNAME%":RX Administrators:F System:F /Y and in Group Policy Admin Templates - Desktop I've enabled "Don't save settings at exit" But the problem is that when they're logged on they can still save stuff onto the desktop. Its only when they log off they get an error that the files cannot be written to the server location. Plus, when they log back onto the same machine the files are there because of the locally cached copy of the profile. Can anyone advise what other option I'm missing out? ISTR years ago when I first implemented this I could get an "Access denied" error whenever you tried to put something on the desktop. TIA.

The videos on the Home Access Plus website need looking at. The bit where the author deleted cookies seemed a little unprofessional and the audio seems to be ok on one but quiet on another.

Its not the motorist's job to warn others. Yes, he'll slow them for but they'll speed up immediately afterwards. But if they're caught and fined, they learn a lesson and hopefully modify their driving style to the standard required on the test and to get them their licence.

I'd probably do a ROBOCOPY backup.
