Force connections over SMB1 instead of the default SMB3, this should stop permission issues. You can force connections to default to SMB1 via an nsmb.conf file placed in /etc sudo echo "[default]" >> /etc/nsmb.conf sudo echo "smb_neg=smb1_only" >> /etc/nsmb.conf restart in order for this to take effect.

Hi, We have noticed that apps like camtasia studio 8 and Adobe Photoshop cs5.5 are really small on a dell laptop that has a 4k screen size. I'm have current dpi scaling set to 250% Even if I lower the screen size to 1280, photo shop still look ridiculously small! Anyone solved this issue? Apart from buying newer software.....

StartLayout doesn't work!!!!! I had created a blank start menu with no tiles and dragged in the right hand side to make it look like the old start menu. I then exported the start menu layout, applied it to a GPO, and when a user logs in, they still have tiles under headings life at a glance and play and explore... All I want is a start menu with no tiles!!!!!!! Any help?

You can't Create a Start Menu Layout in Education for use with a GPO because they have removed the powershell command "Export-StartLayout"
