Ok so how do you explain when you unset the primary email address for a staff member which is there personal email because they are also a parent, that when you I touch that member of staff the email check box is not available so no email message can be sent. Any when you try to send it says the following recipients do not have any selected communication method.

Here is my email to your support team: We have an issue where we have staff that are parents of pupils. So as you would expect their personal email address is set to receive InTouch communication. This is an issue when it comes to receiving communications regarding their own children and other pupils that they teach. You would want to keep emails about their children going to their personal email and emails regarding associated pupils to their work/school email address. But the issue is you cannot have two primary email addresses so how can we keep things separate? I feel this is a programming oversight as I would expect associated teachers, heads of year, headmaster etc.. to receive communication based on location (school or work) rather than primary. Or allow multiple primary email addresses.

Hi, If a parent is an employee of the school, you can't have two primary email addresses set. So how can I make this scenario work: Little Freddie gets a letter sent home via InTouch to the parental primary email address who happens to be a member of staff. This is ok... But little Johnny get a letter sent home but the letter also needs to go to staff (teachers and head of year) to make them aware of the situation, but one of his teachers won't receive it to her school email address as it cannot be set to primary. How can I get SIMS to except multiple primaries or InTouch to email a teacher to there school address if primary is there home address.

I never flood the network with WOL for this reason. I set my computers in to groups and schedule on times 5-10mins apart. And I send two WOL requests per PC just in case the first never reaches. We're on a 1GB backbone.

The cable I suggested was based on theory and I have not yet been required to use them. The cable should in theory draw more power required to power the board. If the same thing happens on multiple PCs with multiple boards then try it with a laptop to see what happens.

Don't know if it will cause an issue but did you notice that you smart product driver tray icon suggests that the whiteboard is not connected. I'm running 14.2 and it works for me, but the newer versions of smart notebook rely more on hardware rendering so best to update graphic card or turn off hardware rendering in notebook options somewhere. To disable hardware acceleration: Select Edit > Preferences. The SMART Notebook Preferences dialog box appears. Press General. Clear the Use hardware acceleration to increase the speed of SMART Notebook software check box. Press OK.

Ok great, thanks, I though it might be something similar as firefly suggested that it would only work with separate parent account and separate staff/employee account, but sims keeps them as a single record no separation.

Hi folks, Have any of you who are using cloud based firefly and sims had any issues with separating staff that are parents so the the staff member can access staff parts of firefly and as a parent access the parent portal side of firefly? The obvious answer would be to have two separate cloud logins but sims doesn't allow you to have two separate records if you are a parent and employee, they are linked together. How have you overcome this?

Had a quick look and it's a vast set of policies, even configured a few for a test machine. There is a lack of start menu customisation, in terms of removing app tiles etc so this will have to done by mounting the WIM and running the uninstall commands to remove the apps you don't want to use.

Hi, can anyone help as to why we have no touch facility in you 4065 board? We have plugged in the 5m usb cable and windows 7 sees it, installs driver accordingly, device manager reports it as a "Microsoft input configuration device". Smart settings show it as connected below in attached image, so not sure why we get no touch?? We have also tried different use cables and also another PC but no touch....

Has anyone else got the same issue as me where a folder of JPEG images from my phone or camera seems to create corrupt thumbnail previews. It only seems to happen on large canvas sizes over 4000x3000 which is what most digital cameras and smart phones would using.

We bought 100 licenses for air server, been great so far!

Vs2013 community also required activation, when mine ran out I couldn't activate and had to re-install windows a fresh to activate.
