I replied just incase people didn't know where to find it, using your post as an initial reference. I also get high CPU in edge but what is more enjoying is that you cannot scroll a page until it has fully rendered. Where as chrome will allow you scroll while loading the content giving the illusion that it is faster, and in realtime I still renders faster that edge and IE. Chrome, long live Chrome!!

The address bar is still there you just have to click on the grey bar where it normally would be and it appears

The home button is in Edge, you just have to turn it on I the ... Button --> settings --> advanced settings

Apologies, quite correct, just checked on of my switches and the gateway is specified in config mode. Our switch ip is on the default VLAN. nothing goes over VLAN 1 for us.

The gateway on each switch is only specified on the default VLAN 1 which is the switches actual IP.

We use both, from a schools point of view o365 is free and offers the best office editing tools on multi-platforms, but Google has better collaboration. Because both are free just have them both.

Had an issue this morning where 33% of our APs (7363 & 7982) leases expired but would not collect an new lease. Nothing has changed on the network side, nothing on ruckus side. All 33% went down at the same time and are all located in different buildings connected to different switches. If I plug a windows laptop in it gets an IP straight away. If I change the DHCP server from windows to smoothwall then still no IP. I wiresharked a poet and it was trying to get IP via dhcp constantly. I also created s flat network using a drafted router and plugged a few APs in and they get an IP, so the APs are not faulty. So this all points to the network but why are 67% ok? Nothing makes sense so if you can offer any help please do thanks [emoji106]🏻

Ive created a default profile and renamed it default.v4 and renamed the ntuser.dat to .man I've copied it to the server profile path with other profiles. Followed https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2890783 to install hot fix and regkey. But still any random pupil logins in and gets the horrible setting up/installing apps screen while it creates a new profile. What am I doing wrong?

Get a hold of the smartboard 9.7 and run the edge trace test if any values are higher than 2 smart would class that as a fail.

I'm pretty sure $TEMP is an environment variable for the windows temp folder, we give read/write to staff and pupils to this folder.

Adobe premiere elements is easy to use and not to expensive. I now use lightworks as its free, a bit more complicated but it's free!

The teacher association is stored within the sims service manager, the only thing extracted from the DB is all staff that are a teacher, nothing is written back. So the only way to reset a teachers activation is via SSM not the DB This is my understanding, maybe @PhilNeal can answer
