I've upgraded to 19.1 and have set this up but I can't see that it will work I am expecting it to? We use Follow Me printing. I can take a reference machine and clone the \\server\FollowMe printer and deploy this. However as some of our devices are not on the domain (log in via Intune) then the printer never installs. It seems to only install if I manually browse the server and authenticate. Even when installed, printing does not seem to come though. Am I missing something obvious?

We have over 500 of these. All on Windows 10 Education joined to domain. Not sure why people are saying no

[ms office - 2016] Office 365 Click to Run: Device based activation

According to that (right at the bottom on the last Q&A) it says: “Device must be Azure AD joined or Azure AD Hybrid joined.” Most of my devices that use DBA are currently not. -
Azure AD not writing back email address...
snagrat replied to CyBeRkId2002's topic in Cloud Services
You have to manually populate the email address in AD. I’ve never known it to write back -
Yes it is. Therefore to me it is working as expected, just not for the Ruckus APs

DHCP server is not on wirelessmgmt vlan, it is on server vlan. I’ll double check the setting tomorrow.
-
Yes ZD is trunk and all connections are. I’m assuming because other devices connect and get an IP correctly then all the ports must be configured correctly?
-
Have just setup VLANs and all is working except for the Ruckus APs as they do not get an IP address. DHCP Relay is definitely working as if I plug my laptop in it works. I also have plugged in a CCTV camera and it gets an address. It is just Ruckus APs that will not get an IP and therefore not see the controller so none of my WiFi is working. The port is a Trunk port, with the native VLAN set to the WirelessMgmt VLAN. Has anyone else had this issue?

DHCP scope max out?

2019 shouldn’t have let you promote it if you are still running FRS, so how did you get a 2019 DC?

I know we are just about to put PaperCut in Azure which will mean everything is uploaded and then downloaded when released.

Must be your msi as never had a problem like this. Created a new msi just today as works in Program Files x86 without any issues

Did anyone get the early version from Willem and try this out? Looking at rolling this out across a new school this Summer where all devices will only be AzureAD joined and managed via Intune

Is anyone aware of a camera that will focus on the person speaking? I am looking for one to place in the center of a table that will auto pan and focus on the current speaker.

Office 365 A1 Plus for faculty licences missing!
snagrat replied to CommodoreS's topic in Cloud Services
The shared activation method will get around this issue. -
Has anyone else implemented this with Server 2019? Seems to block you from editing Group Policies. I've added an exception rule for the c:\Windows\Sysvol but this did not help. Even taking the rules out didn't work so have temporarily had to remove FSRM

If I buy a laptop with USB-C that supports Power Delivery, does this mean that I can charge it using USB-C? Only it comes with its own PSU that uses a standard charging pin. And if it does charge using USB-C, if I buy a docking station that supports Power Delivery would I be right in thinking I can dock using just the one USB-C cable and everything will go down the one cable whilst it also charging the laptop.

I do it under Preferences which does not remove the users unless actually specified to do so

Suddenly I have an issue with machine not allowed us to send messages via Groupcall messenger. The box shows to type text but we are unable to type it in. Groupcall have said it must be a setting on the PC but nothing has changed recently and its been working fine for years. Anyone had/have this issue?

I think this is the best way then we aren’t reliant on the switch model across the site. We can provision the VLAN ID on the PBX so we don’t have to manually setup each phone
-
Do you need to configure the phone to tell it what vlan the PC port is on?
-
It is a mixture of switches. Some Netgear, D-Link and HP.
