On Friday all out MFDs started to stop responding to Papercut. Our MFD support team looked at it briefly but then it was the end of the day. I’m looking now and one of the copiers I can monitor the screen. It currently says: Unable to connect: Failed to initialise device capabilities store Retrying All Papercut services are running. I have rebooted server. Can login to Papercut and do everything but the devices all show as inactive. Papercut is version 15.3 and nothing changed on Friday to cause this. Anyone seen this error? Struggling to find anything online.

You don’t even need to rerun the setup, just edit the OUs in the Synchronisation Service program

For some customers of ours they disabled OSPF (I think that was it) and it worked. But for the others we are told it isn’t enabled.

What connection are you on? We have found this only affects our 100meg Leased Line customers.

I’ve got Intune and not had this issue. Just yesterday I added 4 devices running the latest OS using Apple Configurator to enroll them in DEP then reset them to allow them to auto enroll in Intune

I’ve not had problems with the iPad 2 and AC2. Why do you say the OS is too old?

I share it as a link, then put the link in the Managed Bookmark assigned to the users/OU. Users login, click link and that’s it. Only have to do it once per user, not per Chromebook

With Schools Broadband and Netsweeper. Any know what this error means. The time on the machine and DC is correct. “Possible replay attack for Authentication Redirect it the Authentication Portal time is not equal to the Policy Server Time”

AH I have figured it out. Originally missed the exclusions available on the Google Domain Configuration page.

I have GSuite setup for an Academy with 3 schools currently using it for Chromebooks. The OUs in GSuite are similar to: domain.com -school1 -school2 -school3 I am now looking at introducing syncig GSuite with the AD domain but only want to do one school. My AD is setup pretty much the same so each school is in its own OU. I cannot seem to be able to find a way so that I can only sync one OU of users without disabling the other users. I'm running a Simulate Sync and I can see that all users in school2 and school3 are being disabled. Is there a way I am able to exclude OUs on the Google side so they are not touched at all?

So since Schools Broadband introduces their Layer2 upgrade the other day we have multiple customers who are getting very bad call quality on their SIP Trunks. We have two customers who have a local hosted PBX (Yeastar to be precise) and another who is externally hosted but unsure with who. NOC say it is due to the Layer2 upgrade but are unable to provide a fix now. Just wondered if anyone else is having the same issue, or even better had it but then resolved it with NOC somehow

Can anyone explain what the Default Policy is used for? Surely if everyone is filtered by their AD group, or via the unauthenticated proxy ports then the default web filter rule shouldn’t be needed? I get a lot of sites that get filtered at the default level even though the site is allowed at the user level

Are your groups in an OU that is set to be synced?

You will not need to verify domain ownership again GSuite will only stop working as the MX records will need to be reset. Once added everything will work again.

We have the same issue at several customers. Support don’t seem to interested and just ask us to do speed tests all the time.

Thanks you suggestion put me on the right track. Appears it didn’t like having Appdata redirected. Removed that setting and worked again instantly

We have a funny issue where the machines that are connected to ActivBoards will not load ActivInspire. The splash screen will simply freeze and then crash. They did work fine for several months but are now unable to find what has changed to cause this. I will try and get some version numbers but wondered if there was anything I could check.

How are the schools connected? Via the internet through each ones Router? If so, then you will need a DC in each school You mention a main router but unsure if you mean each school has its own or if it is a single device

I’ve been asked to look at a Synology NAS that has a crashed volume. I couldn’t recover the volume but I have managed to recover the data by plugging the drivers into a Linux machine. I can clearly see the Shared_Media directory and data. But the NAS was also used as a iSCSI tartget with a single LUN. I can’t see this data directly but I can see a 2TB ep_dat_00000 file. Does anyone know a way I can mount this file to be able to access the LUN data?
