  1. You only need to wait 5 minutes once the domain is removed from one tenant to add to another.
  2. Just email them directly stating that you have not been approved for Education tenancy. They will sign a form for you to fill in. If you do delete the domain you don’t have to wait months, just a few minutes to add it to a new tenant. Once added contact MS straight away asking for Education tenancy
  3. Completely breaks SCCM. Not supported at all.
  4. Do you know which model range?
  5. Line type isn’t confirmed. So you think there is a different solution for DSL?
  6. Ok. And then the customer provides their own firewall solution?
  7. So by the sounds of it each customer is expected to supply their own router? There isn’t a standard one that Exa supply?
  8. I need to provide pricing to a MAT who use Schools Broadband, SWGfL and Exa across their academies. The solution needs to create an IPSEC VPN to Azure. I know it is possible via SB and SWGfL, but just wondering what equipment or firewall solution Exa customers generally get? Is it firewall that you have access to?
  9. Yes we use it at a lot of schools. I find it very good, very flexible. Do you have specific questions?
  10. Why the move away from SCCM?
  11. Sounds like you haven’t been verified as Education? Email support and ask them to verify you ASAP
  12. We will have a Layer3 switch at the core. As previously mentioned, VLAN pooling seems to be the answer
  13. It appears that most vendors support VLAN pooling. That seems like the best solution
  14. The WiFi vendor isn’t yet confirmed so I will look into VLAN pools. My concern is that 900 devices is too much and just wondered what everyone else did really. We could have separate VLAN per year group, for example?
  15. What is the best way to split VALNs for 900 wireless devices. I could look at doing it per building. The whole campus could have a single SSID but depending on the building you are in it puts you on a different VLAN. How will this work with roaming?
  16. So users can login to Chromebooks with Azure credentials and then get into Gsuite and Office 365 with no additional credentials?
  17. We’ve been running it for a few years now in the UK
  18. In -Identity are you using the full email address?
  19. Can you do an individual search on a problematic mailbox and insert the -Identity switch? Rather than piping it from Get-Mailbox
  20. Show us the command you are running.
  21. Schools Broadband have a much better firewall solution, in my opinion. If you are or will be going down the MAT route then they seem to be able to do a lot more without too much additional work.
  22. I’m not a sims man but DBattach doesn’t make a backup I don’t think. To make a backup the database needs to be attached and live, then use any SQL method to back it up, such as SQL Studio or FreeSQLBackup
  23. We were down, still having issues sending today.
  24. There is a client that runs on the device. Only issue we have with users dropping back onto the default filter is because there is a timeout (default 24hours) and if the authentication hasn’t happen again with in that time then they become unauthenticated. However SB can increase this for you. I now have ours set to 7 days
