My understanding is firstly you must use the minimum of Pro from the OEM. There is no support for Home and no license that gives you the right to upgrade to Pro. The A3 license will upgrade the edition for the user that logs in. If a user logs in who doesn’t have A3 then the only get the features available in the base OS - in this case Pro. There is no waiting whilst features are enabled on login. The above works for us and we never have issues with logging into multiple machines.

You’ll be surprised. If you are asked then the DfE will see your Unifi network, regardless of age or standard, as needing replacement. Purely because they do not see Unifi as a good solution.

Azure will be the authenticator. That sounds like a good plan and what I need. So is it on the Google side that you set what field the token uses to confirm the user? You must automate the GAM process for when new users arrive etc?

I've setup Google and Azure SSO a few times now and its been pretty straight forward. But on my later project I am needing to do it when the domains are different between the 2 cloud providers and I am not sure it is possible. In Google we have domain1.com and all users have this as their primary domain. In Azure we have domain2.com which all users have as their primary domain. We can add domain1.com as an alias. We cannot add domain2.com to Google as it currently exists in another tenant that will be staying. Ultimately we will be moving domain1.com to the domain2.com tenant but not for a little while. Is it possible to setup Azure SSO through Google so a subnet of users that login with domain2.com (domain1.com as alias) are SSO into their domain1.com Google account?

That is a license for everyone isn’t it, not just those that you want to ensure the policy on?

What is the power and status light doing? By default the ZD will get DHCP but then fall back to 192.168.0.2 if unable to get DHCP

afi.ai here Pay per user but with one user license you can backup whole of SharePoint/Teams etc. you get a storage allowance per user license.

Is anyone using any room booking software that allows external orgs to book their use? I'm looking for something that can link into M365 as the same rooms may also get booked internally and so the two calendars must match. I've looked at Bookings, which kind of works, but there does not seem to be any form of billing available through it which is something we would need so we can bill the external bookings.

You can reset using the pin but if it had ZD firmware on before then you need to flash to standalone firmware to use it as a standalone AP

This only takes affect on the first sync. If the user already exists and was not set to change password then ticking box and re-syncing will not do anything. I’ve actually had the issue the other way round when the box was ticked and I did not want users to be promoted to change the password. Was quicker for me to delete all and re-sync

We’ve set up our Gos with AutoPilot. The students can enrol them and away they go. What error do you get when logging in? Who has enrolled them via AutoPilot?

You need to bind the MDM to the VPP store using a token. It expires every year. In ASM go to Settings/Apps to download the token then upload to MDM. Should be able to force a sync that will pull in the apps

If you used the wizard. I personally use the console to add OUs and then have to run the sync Script
