No need to change the domain for that. You shouldn’t be login in with anything .local anyway as this should be pre-populated. But if you really wanted to change it then you can change it without rebuilding the domain. There are supported ways to do it. Restricting USB etc can all be done with Group Policy which is a feature of a domain server

It can join a domain but it is not free. You would typically get Education as part of a Microsoft OVS agreement or some machines will come with a Pro Education license from OEM

I’ve had this before. Firmware didn’t help but a full factory reset did.

So one of our MFD had to have a new HDD. I’ve reset all the scanning etc. Finance have said that previously scans would separate into files based on the barcode stick on the top sheet. Not free but we use Printix to do this. Pay per Staff and Student are free but they are very relaxed on actual numbers. Deploy the Printix client and that it is. The rest is done in the Printix console to set the print queues. Works well with Papercut

So Print deploy still doesn’t SSO the user in and add the printers automatically? We use Papercut in Azure but then use Printix to handle the deployment of the printers to the machines.

We do the same from Reception to Y6 with the Surface Go. Different generation but this year will be 300+ i3 model to cover the outgoing lease. I haven’t looked in a while but is the Company Portal still only available if you are the primary user of the device? We pre-enrol the pupil devices so was an issue for us to use it. Staff were ok as we would distribute ready for them to enrol

Any chance of any more help on this localzuk? I've created a field in Google called ImmutableID and have exported the string from Azure and added it to the field for my test user. But it doesn't work. I am playing around with the Attributes and Claim section in Azure, thinking it would need to be tweaked to ensure the ImmutableID is used as the anchor but that isn't an option Thanks in advance
