A local charity school has a free educational Azure account from Microsoft and Windows server 2016 on-premise. There is not any important information or policy to export before formatting the on-premise server. I upgraded the drives to SSD then installed Windows server 2019. I promoted the server to DC and enabled the Hyper-V. They want to disable USB, configure background image, create OU for each class....etc I created a new subnet for the server and one computer to test everything before joining the rest of computers to the new domain. I managed to disable the USB via group policy then added the provided image to be used as a background image. Those two policies are successfully applied but I the background image disappeared when I changed the DNS. I revert the DNS to the domain one but the configured image is still not showing. I deleted the user profile from the registry and it is working now. I am wondering if this is a normal behavior or I misconfigured the background image on the server side. Shall I configure the background image on the on-prem and on Azure or just on on-prem. Please advise.

This is the issue with the user that I want to create. It seems there is a sync between the local AD and the one in Azure. How to check if this sync is enabled, and if is useful to have a on-primse AD connect to the Azure one?

I just created a new user on the Azure AD. The new user has the new domain. Also, the account automatically created on the Office 365 portal. But the issuer has the old domain. UPN for the new user is correct and matching the new domain name. How can I change the issuer to the new domain please?

As I know, Mikrotik and Ubiquite have good access points and both of them do not require any license, but what is the best solution and which one is easier to congifure please? They want to create two wifi connections. Also, they want to the connection to go through Netsweeper cloud firewall . Do you know if any of them offer discounted price for educational sectore please?

My friend is a head teacher for a local school. He has a free MS 365 from Microsoft. He wants to format the 10 computers they have since the windows version is too old 1909. Some of those computers has WIN 10 Education and the rest has WIN 10 Pro. I would like to know if WIN 10 Education can join to the domain and if WIN 10 Eudcation is free of charge for educational sector. Thank you

I have a windows server 2016 with a domain .local for a friend in small academy organization. There are roughly 20 users. Recently, he bought a new domain .academy and he wants to migrate the domain of on-site server 2016 from .local to academy. He also wants to change the background picture. He also wants to block USB on domain computers. I prefer to format the server since the number of users are limited and no data on the server. What do you suggest please? I appreciate IT expert recomendation in this matter.
