    our financial process is no PO no order so there's paperwork to do regardless... there is no in and out here i love ecat from softcat but i hate their salespeople they're soooooo pushy and harass you for weeks after an enquiry so i only use it if im struggling to get stuff elsewhere

    The website is crap, your account manager can get alot more money off and source anything you need usually... at least mine does so dont treat it like a Misco catalogue! Another one for IDNS as the go to for everything

    double check what youre applying - i know if we apply the youtube restricted and safety mode on the smoothwall/chromegpo it completely kills youtube approving i disabled everything but youtube restricted mode and ours is working fine for approval of blocked videos

    setup the scope on the dhcp server and set iphelper address, as far as im aware it has to be done on command line though - atleast i couldnt find it on the webinterface last time i needed it. Configuring DHCP relay

    no idea, id assume the caller id would be the same for someone like apple - worth testing atleast!

    cant you set the phone system to redirect calls from the authentication service number thing direct to your desk phone or something instead of the AA

    Theres alot of URL's that if you break the ssl cert that particular service will not work in gmail its a bit of a pain if i remember right: people-pa.clients6.google.com is the directory lookup URL, its the same with keep/tasks/hangouts too they have particular URLS that need to be set to not inspect hangoutssearch-pa.clients6.google.comkeep-pa.clients6.google.com calendarsuggest.clients6.google.com just open the browsers developer console and see what errors its spitting out

    everytime google update it it breaks the auto launch - i get a never ending stream of calls from one person because of this

    id love to do this where possible, most skills are transferable between platforms anyway these days... word processing is word processing and spreadsheets are spreadsheets until you're at the super edge cases and needing to get macros/programming involved they all look the same and do the same job

    nah, the system only activates when the activation phrase is heard - theres alot of technical crap online explaining how it works.

    google apps > google apps the built in migration tools can handle everything except drive by the looks of it.

    Does anyone know of any tools or anything that would pull this off and actually move the google drive stuff? We're taking over another trust who also use google apps so im looking to move all their data from the previous domain to ours the documentation for the google migration tool doesnt mention drive data moving at all

    if you have smart hardware on site and a few non smart boards, enquire about a smart site licence, depending on your smart hardware % the yearly subscription is buttons... we were last quoted at £800/year very pc sell them i think

    On of our local authorities are playing hardball claiming that its their TLD and they cant release it - if they continue is this something i can just contest with nominet to get it released?

    does what it says on the tin to be honest, it will need a bit of constructive input from the management/safeguarding leads as to how categories and incidents are reported to get effective use from it but ive not heard a peep since the day it went in except when people need new authenticators adding. it does require a 2fa usb thing or a mobile code generator to access data at the safeguarding team level but again not heard a peep since setup

    Our trust used cpoms exclusively in 7+ schools, setup consists of an export from your mis that you email to them on a setup doc and then its out of your hands
