greetings working on a mates band site i am doing in joomla, cant show you yet as its on my laptop (i love wamp) setting the scene lates joomla blah blah just using the modded ja_purity theme as i like it using the rokslideshow plugin (latest) problem one on the Horizontal nav i have 4-5 links to external sites (facebook, myspace, twitter, bebo, reverbnation). when setting these up you can assign an image but i cant get it to show. i want '{fb icon} our facebook page' etc how is this done??? can it be done? problem two i have the rokslideshow, it works with mod positions but i want it on the home page in place of an image. i read u have to use the {loadposition slideshow}. but this doesnt load the slideshow. when i enable the slideshow title that shows up but no slide show. it is enabled, as is the loadposition thingy, read up but as far as i know i am doing it correctly pls help

really needing to get a new digi slr camera for various reasons. i am looking at Nikon D60 Nikon D3000 Nikon D5000 are there any others ppl recommend? i have used nikon before and very happy with results (shameless plug). also where would you recommend buying one from? due to me being skint atm i am looking at some buy now pay later - have several sites on the go atm just waiting for the cash.

we have securus but have yet to properly implement it. when used correctly it has a skintone/boob image detector. wen we were shown it it did get confused by bald men but they were working on it at that time.

has any one a vista iso they can stick on a web server for an hour or so??? i know its horrid but i have been asked to fix a member of staffs computer and i was in a good mood at the time. i tried xp but it failed to pick up the hdd and i have not the time nore patience this week to get around that. it has vista on its just screwed, but i long since lost my vista disk/iso. it has the serial on the sticker if you were worried about that. cheers

greetings on this wonderful holiday time for some reason RM tutor was removed by my predecessor, and im being nagged to get it back on, now i have finally seemed to of cured most of the issues since sept i want to get it done. problem is i have lots of different packages for different parts of the prog; RM Tutor 3 RM Tutor 3 Browse Control RM Tutor 3 Student Only RM Tutor 3 Teacher Only RM Tutor Enhancements RM Tutor Secure Client my question is where do i allocate these? ie which on to either teacher or student stations. the student only and teacher only i think i can guess lol. normally id just test allocate this but due to allocating/deallocating other packages and power being on and off and a massive list of other jobs i thought id ask you wonderful folks

i would have trouble with this as if in a future interview as i would be thinking about our current head - deputies. they dont care that 35 others are having problems getting on, they need to print off their emails to read them and they need to do that nowwww! also whats the admin staff member doing/job roll, if they are the sims person and its report time they are bloody important. if they dont need computer urgently and can do some photocopying??? what if i am busy, as in really busy, doing urgent stuff. this is why i hate these stupid questions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

is the bbc 'freetoair' as in you have to pay a tv licence for it. although most countys get all broardcast licences for schools and they have to opt out if they choose..... i actually looked this up afew years ago for something different. i tell staff that you can download from iplayer but due to drm restrictions you are limited to number of playbacks or time in which you can play it.....they say 'but im sure 'you' can get round that!' which i can/have done for my self but its not quick n easy and i dont want to change my job title to iplayer ripper off'r

having only just moved into my 1st place 2 1/2months ago i know the feeling. i got used to it quite quick tho. just the depressing ironing etc, but there are the upsides to think of.....pizza when ever you want, gf to stay over, pizza, crates of ale, pizza errrr the downsides are my house mate who insists on wearing shoes inside to the point where i was on my hands and knees last night scrubbing it up

we currently have specops gpudate installed (wonderful tool) & i have been using it to boot up stations remotly when installing packages, and this works a treat! what i want to do tho is every (week) day to boot up all stations in the school at 730/800. this would save the problems of teachers getting to an IT lesson and having to wait for the stations to all boot then login - only a few mins difference but it would help (my ears if nothing else) gpudate displays a powershell comandline which i guess you can use some how to schedule - but i dont know how....yet
