I think headphones are a lost cause, weve tried everything from the cheapest of the cheap 2 quid ear buds to expensive over ear and they all end up getting lost/broken/abused It literally doesnt matter what make model or price you get, the same thing will happen to them sooner or later. We just buy cheap ones now and consider them disaposable.

Ooh just seen this - I've got paxton with a big red lockdown button installed which locks all the doors = great. And notify as a seperate bit of software that I have to manually lock down and send message myself if the big red buton is pressed - not so great. How can I get the two to communicate please, netsupport said it wasnt possible. Thx

Well classcharts had a data breech and pretended it didnt happen so if that's what you want your data to be treated like then yeh go for it. Otherwise just use bromcom. Classcharts is only really useful for SIMS schools as SIMS hasnt got anything modern in it - but Bromcom has most of that built in so why do you need classcharts?

Erm - if it's Raid 0 then there is no drive swaping or rebuilding the array - if one drive fails you lose data and the array is compromised. Id be expexting chunks of that stored CCTV data to be missing to be honest. How it's still running is a miracle!

Secondary. I disagree with JT about connected being faster than on premise. Our on premise was mch more responsive. Theres like a 2 second delay in literally everything you do on connected. I guess that's RDP on possibly undersised servers for you.

I run most things as VM but firewalls not so sure. Would probably prefer to have physical units as that makes troubleshooting and also accountability much straighter - i.e if the appliance isnt working or has performance issues its always the companies fault they cant blame your VMs or hosts.

Hmm the problem with printers is always controlling and auditing them and that is where papercut comes in - once you've set it up it just works - I think I've had it for 10 years here still working perfectly. We set up what printers do what for who Set who has access to what and when Click go and eveything just works Might be worth thinking more about as trying to run vanilla MFD's just using windows and 4 digit department codes on it's own is pretty darn clunky.
