Not really. Before you uploaded any data subject names to Google to create the accounts you mentioned you should have completed a DPIA. This process would identify why you want to use the Google services, what information you intend to share, what benefit it has to your users or organization as well as any thoughts on risk and ways of reducing that. Through that process you should identify what permissions are needed or which basis you intend to use to hand the data over to a third party. Then if a concerned party approaches you with questions, or you have a breach you can produce your impact assessment. It may be proved wrong and you may have to adjust it later, but you can prove beyond doubt that you considered data protection before sharing data.

It’s worth noting that although the card readers mentioned above are great and can emulate keyboards. Perhaps a better solution can also be achieved with an arduino (atmel atmega32u4 based) and a cheap rfid module for less than £10. I have added a keypad to mine, so I can output the UID as Hexidecimal, decimal or ‘paxton’ with the press of a key. Doesn’t require any drivers on the pc and can be used as a macro keyboard too. I should really put the code on github.

I use a flirc case for my pi4 running home assistant. It’s completely passive and is excellent. I’d buy a second without hesitation if required. Home assistant is excellent too but I’m in the process of moving my automations to node red (but still calling home assistant entities). If these machines won’t boot into MDT check any spanning tree settings on the switch. To ensure the machine can gain an IP and DHCP setting quickly, you may need to enable rapid spanning tree, or shut off spanning tree entirely on these switches temporarily.

The super competitive market of PAT has meant testers cut corners. It's really easy to request the change via the admin portal - I've just done it via chat and it took only a few minutes. It would be nice to have a switch in the portal, and even nicer to have it controllable per OU, but you can ask for it to be disabled and we're back to the way we were a week or so ago - all meetings can allow anonymous access. It makes sense to me that this is something Google wants to implement, but for us it doesn't fit so it won't be implemented.

Running our Zebra Mk 500 from a HP 2950 PoE+ switch. I've just checked on the switch and it is sat at 3.5 watts at a reported 54.8v Nothing set on the port out of the ordinary. It was supplied with a PoE adapter but we just chucked it in our switch and off it went I think.

AGM batteries have a limit on how many deep cycles they can have. However they are designed to be cycled. I think perhaps APC is suggesting while in service they should have a deep cycle every six months, but they should absolutely not be left on a shelf at a low voltage or they can sulphate and self discharge to a voltage they can't be recovered from. APC usually use 'Long' batteries. I'd see if you can find a datasheet for the batteries themselves. We buy Varta battery replacements for our UPS's rather than buy the cartridges or APC stickered ones. We replace them every two years or so as a maintenance item. After all its core infrastructure.

We have two types of accounts, and every CCTV user gets their own account. We wrote this into our CCTV policy and this ensures all user actions are logged within the software. We have admin users, who get everything. Live View, Playback, Preview, Play, Backup, PTZ and Focus. Our standard day to day users do not get backup - as soon as there is a potential that footage may be kept for longer than our standard retention policy (ie. it's being exported) that needs to be completed through as admin user. Permissions are sorted at the Role level. We had discussions about one of our members of staff in reception monitoring the camera on the front door. If we'd have gone ahead we planned to limited that staff member to Live View on the single camera required due to the location of that PC and no playback.

We had a PC in the same position a couple of years ago. The BMS system used a PCI card to communicate with the various controllers around site (I think it was probably RS485). The PC eventually failed and we ended up paying for a new IP controller which is now the interface between a VM and the BMS controllers. It's worked a lot better ever since. The engineers are happy to work with us if and when there is a control issue to pin point where the issue lies (and it's rarely with the server or network).

I've recently had a licence renewal email with a link to the same domain for their privacy statement. Very odd that the domain is behind a privacy company, but I think the domain is genuine.
