Looks like this is sorted now thanks very much for your replys. Deleted the options, for some reason it didn't like having 2 email addresses or 2 options don't know why as it allows you to create them.

I feel your pain, had 20 of these that had the same issue, contact Apple, you will need your invoice for the devices as they will not help without it, they send you a form to fill in and you return that with a copy of the invoice and then they rest the device.

Hi All, We block attached zip files from coming into our GAFE domain via gmail , but we have a couple of staff linked with child safety that receive attached files in a zipped folder, is it possible to allow attached zipped folders for certain members of staff and keep the block on others. If possible, How do i do it? Its the same account that sends zipped attachments every week. Thanks

Had the same problem with some Novatec laptops they just went dud after Windows 10 1603.

Were hosted online and I would agree it is clunky but some schools just won't shift from the devil they know no matter what the price, running it on 30MB connection for a primary school.

In the schools i look after, we have a spare laptops pre-configured with all the software they need on, only access to school share for pupils and staff on mapped drive. Normal class teacher leaves a list of work that the children need to cover. Supply are given a temp login for registration on school MIS which is cloud based or use a printed sheet that is completed and sent to the office.

We Have the smart learning suite but using Old Smart Whiteboards. Discussed the issue with the HOS and the opinion is to bite the bullet and ride with Smart because that's what the staff would prefer rather than working between different type s of software. Just a quote for 3065 and its 3K over budget but compares well to some of the other quotes I have had non smart panels. Thanks

Thanks, We are primary ipads are not the device of choice although we do have some, we use Windows tablets and the staff have their own laptops with Smart Learning Suite installed. Thanks for you advice though.

Apologies if this is in wrong place. We use Smart Learning Suite on Smart Whiteboards but we are wanting to move to touch screens for replacing our old Smart Whiteboards I have been informed that if we bought a 3rd party touch screen such as Genie\BenQ\iiyama or any other then we would lose some of the functions of Smart Learning Suite. Just trying to gauge the feeling on whether we should stay with Smart for our touch screens or is it more hassle for the staff using a 3rd party touch screen, and what limitations if any does the Smart Learning Suite impose when not connected to a Smart panel. Were looking at 65" panels because the jump to 70" is quite a bit. Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for all replies, those photos certainly show the issue we all seem to have some of these laptops. Granted not all laptops are of the same quality, I have some Stone NB1103 and they are rock solid along with the older still Dell D530 all great builds but with the push to lighter materials they have compromised on the robustness of the laptop.

Hi All, We have quite a few Stone laptops where the cases have broken but the boards and screens are good. I am thinking as there is no budget for replacing the cases or laptops for that matter, that the laptops that do work other than a broken case is to glue the case together but I have tried some glues and they just don't hold or melt the plastic. Does anyone know of a glue that I does work on the plastic that these laptops are made of?
