Hi All, We use KM PCopiers in a Windows Domain environment, I have been asked to implement Secure Print for all staff, we don't have papercut and they wont buy it is there a way to force it on staff via GPO or in the case of their laptops setting it up within the driver settings as default? Anyone had to do this and willing to share? Thanks

Guess I was lucky then. Watched it all on iplayer.

Think it says it support over 3000 printers on their site.

I don't follow the press and choose to watch and follow program purely based on the the first episode so i won'y be watching Dr Who based on the first episode because it just didn't grip my attention even with Jodie Whitaker in it which is shame as i like her.

Yes I noticed that, weird i know but it works and I always work on the assumption that if it isn't broke don't try and fix it.

Be lucky to get a 3G/4G signal in any school with EE:D

All working fine here Svr 2016 and Win10Edu-1803. The images of the GPO settings for printer deployment at this site that works are below, pretty basic set of policies used here. Although at my other school a teacher did raise an issue yesterday as I was leaving, bit late then but will look at it on Friday.

A big time consuming task if you have lots of them, and they don't just touch the keyboards and screens do they?

Parent Mail MIS Autolink and Chat Function - Smoothwall
JATSO replied to JATSO's topic in Cloud Services
Decided to start from scratch again with MIS Autolink and working ok now but the chat function just doesn't want to work. -
Hi All, Hoping someone else on here is using Parent Mail,Sims and Smoothwall can help me out. Parent mail have provided us with their MIS Autolink, online Chat link from within their website. I have followed their installation instructions and have had our Smoothwall support opened up the correct port, but still not working for either MIS Autolink and Chat. It looks like Smoothwall is blocking it but for the life of me I am unable to find out what I need to put in the exceptions or configure to get it all working. Any takers pleassse:)

Some interesting reads on this thread and I think that Windows 10 just throws us all most days, and like some in schools I am also a lone tech for which Edugeek is a great life line. Like most I would have liked to have some solid training and advice from those that work in the same sector who have actually implemented successful roll outs of school networks. Maybe this could be a mission for Edugeek to co-ordinate a annual central training event during the school holidays that school technicians could attend without the usual sell tactics that private companies use selling their own solutions, after all were all trying to achieve the same goals, which is to build, implement, maintain solid networks for our schools. It would take some organizing and probably a contribution from those wanting to attend but sometimes it's just what some school techs need is to learn from the best in their sector if its not available local without the high costs of private tuition.

He must have some skeletons in his cupboard if he's worried about the papers.

I was in Drew Pritchard's shop last half term on holiday. Very expensive junk but i suppose one person's old tat is another's way to riches. Nice pics.
