Anyone good with PowerPoint and pictures? (Funeral slideshow)
JATSO replied to googlemad's topic in General Chat
Try Moviemaker. Rather than PowerPoint. -
I have been asked to produce from our smoothwall a list of sites visited over the last half term. It's a primary school so I don't expect much from the pupils and staff but you never know. CPOMS here as well, no input but to install and configure.

Unifi here for all my 4 schools just works great way to setup and no rolling costs for managed service. I have used their support by way of chat but only to find out where the auto backup was installed because I was moving the controller to another workstation. They are helpful and informative.

Hi all, Anyone use Locklizard from Cornerstones Hub? Since moving over to Smoothwall we can no longer download the licence via Cornerstones Hub or activate the current one. The link on Cornerstones hub points to - https://www.e3-iguana.com but Smoothwall doesn't seem to be able to find it when testing the url. Anyone use using Cornerstones Hub and Locklizard come across the issue and if so how have they resolved it? Thanks in advance.

I'll draft some instructions up over the weekend and be with you for Monday

I might be able to help you with this as I have a batch of Miix 310s and your Miix 320's probably boot the same. All very hands on though wouldn't want to do it over a WiFi so I did it from a portable drive takes time about 30mins per device but you could replicate if you have enough USB drives large enough for your image. I'll send you over some instructions on what i did to build an image for them.

Is it any good? I'm currently testing Remote Utilities but having problems connecting from school to school, might be something to do with smoothwall blocking outbound connections but not figured it out yet.

Glad I am not the only MysticTech on the planet. How long will it take? is a usual favourite of many staff. Lengths of string always come to my mind.

I was asked today if the photocopier will be printing for lessons tomorrow. [emoji836] [emoji120] 🤔

I moved our school to Windows 10 1703 over the summer and have had no reports of connection issues with the latest drivers. The staff use their laptops so it's a clean install of everything for them rather than a network build.
