Sharepoint for Staff drive and Iamcloud Drive mapper
northeast_technician replied to maxrebo's topic in Cloud Services
we have used this for a few months now but is anyone having an issue where it refuses to open a file? I have only one or two users where this happens. However, if I copy the same file to say the desktop the file opens fine -
Hi all, hope all is well. I am issuing new staff laptops very shortly but I am worried after the last lot that they are not being used properly when home (kids of teachers using them etc). Does anyone have a template they would be willing to share as to an agreement you get staff to sign that covers this sort of thing? Thanks in advance.

we use prowise boards and so far have been very happy with these, has pc module option and android software included -
possibly, basically we have switched via our ISP to a new filtering which requires a user agent on the machine and to install a security certificate. Which is fine when connected as a domain user. The BYOD for obvious reasons wouldnt get either

Is it possible to have 2 dhcp ranges running at the same time on the same server? I am having an issue with filtering and need the byod devices to be on a separate range so they apply the correct filtering policy. This is because my domain machines require a security certificate to filter correctly. Of course this isnt possible to give to byod devices. Any help appreciated

Software only runs as administrator
northeast_technician replied to northeast_technician's topic in Educational Software
yes done both, when i check that box though it still prompts for admin credentials -
Hi all, I have an issue with a piece of software in school it works fine on most machines on but certain ones for no apparent reason it doesn't.... unless you run as administrator. I have tried (for test purposes) increasing a user level to admin, this doesnt work. The only way it works is having them as a standard user and entering administrator credentials. This of course isnt suitable. The software does however run when logged in as a local user. I have uninstalled and re-installed with no luck. Any ideas?
