  1. It's not just you! It has turned into a habit!
  2. Talk To Me This is a low budget thriller, it's not until I started watching I discovered it was filmed in my adopted home city - Adelaide. I was pleasantly surprised, the rotten Tomatoes score is good!
  3. This is the only reason I am not buying a Mac to replace my home laptop. I don’t want the pro as it’s to big fit my needs.
  4. In that case, what ITGuyNW suggested would be ideal.
  5. I am just finishing 2 shows that came from recommendations found on this thread. Kim’s Convenience & Catastrophe. We like them both, Kim’s in particular as it’s really easy to watch. Thanks to those who recommended! Can some suggest some more 20 min shows? Thanks!
  6. I am curious to know what direction you're going?
  7. The size is the big issue. It was quite difficult to use. I’m not sure if it’s due to using a bigger screen or the apps are optimised for a regular sized iPhone. The screen itself seemed lower quality than my 11, but to be honest I am not sure if that was just me. A lot of people complained about them, it wasn’t just me. Since the rollout of the 14 it was noted the data consumption increased and usage on one of the corporate apps had significantly increased. The only reason they had the mini in the first place was that’s all they could get due to shortages. Apple don’t make them anymore so I assume everyone else agrees.
  8. I have a iPhone 14 for work and a personal 11. Even though it is notable how much better the 14 is, the 11 is fine, apart from the battery is starting to show its age. So I may upgrade depending on how long I can make it last. My old work phone was a 12 Mini. That is the worst phone I have ever had. Anyone who has one of these I would certainly recommend upgrading.
  9. You’re thinking like an adult. Not like a child….
  10. I do option 1. (Making sure I use the offical script from Microsoft to clean up AD after getting rid of exchange.) You have a third option as well! You can install the Exchange 2019 management tools without Exchange server. This will allow you to manage the synced environment without actually having the actual full flown exchange installed. I guess it comes down to the what you’re actually managing? What would you actually need to do on premise? I found it’s very few and a rarity.
  11. Became of how you are looking at this. What is the refresh interval on the monitoring. For example, a speedtest will max out a line but can go unnoticed on a many monitoring systems. I would check if your firewall has SIP ALG, if so disable it. Causes more harm than good! Also consider setting up QOS if you haven’t already.
  12. I have been in this situation myself, albeit to a much smaller scale. It's frustrating!
  13. I have seen this before and it was DNS. Start with the basics and ensure your NIC is configured correctly for DNS. Check there are accurate records in the DNS server etc.
  14. Somehow every bad situation seems to be the fault of the IT department!
  15. It would depend on the contract you have with your supplier. Why is the SLA in the contract?
  16. Have you checked that spanning tree is only occurring on links between other switches? Maybe there a rouge switch (or something else) connected to one your access ports that is trying to participate in your spanning tree topology. To prevent issues like this I always enable the BPDU Guard on all ports apart from uplinks.
  17. Personally I would merge Staff and Students into 1 SSID and have a seperate IOT SSID. Although anything BMS related on our system is hard wired due to being classed a critical to the functioning of the faculties.
  18. Why aren’t they doing them from home? It’s a pretty stupid hour to be in work and selfish to expect others (such as facilities and yourself) to be there.
  19. Just finished Hijack. I enjoyed the show but I thought the ending was a letdown! Back to series 3 of Yellowstone!
  20. You can install the Exchange 2019 management tools without actually installing the Exchange 2019 server. This will allow you to managed office 365 synced accounts on premise. Personally I do it directly in AD and skip out any local exchange components.
  21. I would recommend that people make this requirement during the initial procurement and deployment stage. This would have ensured that logging is enabled before going into service.
  22. I would argue that it’s too late at this point. Unauthorised devices shouldn’t be getting anywhere. It’s a bit like having CCTV monitoring a unlocked door.
  23. The quickest way to determine this is by looking at the logs in your managed Cisco switch.
  24. Ignore my autocorrect fail…
  25. If they will claim it’s the Ukraines fault.
