PIV is your friend here. We do all of our winter drying in a rack suspended in the stairwell. Thought about an extract above it until I found this. Possibly through a suggestion here. Draws air from the loft (which is warmer than outdoors, no matter how good your insulation) and forces the damp stuff out through any gaps.

DNO - your actual supplier, not necessarily who you get bills from. A "disturbance logger" is fitted by DNO and is left for a period of time. Any fluctuations are recorded, and if out of spec, can be remedied. It is possible your voltage has gone up if a major user in your area has shut down. If so, the DNO might change the transformer at the substation to drop your voltage. But probably not if you are only running at 250V.

I don't think there can be many school halls where adding delays won't reduce ineligibility. Stick with a pair at the stage for reinforcement. Possibly use others for effects, or if the hall is used in different configurations.

Doing things "to keep the neighbors sweet" is all very well, but can cause issues down the line. Stick to what is on the plan if at all possible. Don't move fences, accept responsibility, whatever. My first job, a billion years ago, was as a draughtsman in a surveyors office. They, and lawyers, make lots of money sorting out boundary disputes arising from "good intentions" years ago!

At the risk of going OT... I have a Panasonic TZ10 as a "pocket camera" - it is fine, flexible, nice pics, but... it sucks dust in, and there's now a mottled effect on the back of the front lens. I've got the dust out for the second time, and had a go at cleaning the lens - whatever it is (and it might be the coating failing) but it doesn't come off. I don't think the mottling is affecting images too much, but very difficult to tell. What would you replace it with (NOT a phone, MrsC will want to use it too)? I wouldn't mind spending a £few hundred. The GPS facility is good, I'd like to retain that. I'd go for another TZ, but they seem as rare as hen's teeth at the moment.
