I've just got a 640 for my new work phone to replace my classic Blackberry and its actually quite nice size is nice and got the genuine case for it and for the cost of the handset I am quite impressed, it does have its slow moments compared to my 930 but when you think spec wise the 930 was the flagship compared to 640 which was mid-range its really nice. Not sure if you would want XL it doesn't feel small and I thought it would do but yeh I'm impressed tbh.

The seemed to forget that local residents don't tell the rest of London it should have been notices everywhere as I didn't know about it till I heard about the aftermath and these "we are filming" signs are usually small and not that easily found so can be a pain, the Cadbury Christmas Ad was filled in Woolwich Centre and the signs were a few dotted around nothing much to note about and they had turned the square into chaos and a snowy wonderland but lots didn't know and I live a short walk from it....

We use Dell Ultrabooks and they are beautiful - Latitude 12 7000 Series Ultrabook Details | Dell UK hard hardly any issue, decent high end i7, 16GB Ram, 265GB SSD and users love them. Costly but nice.

We were keen to go to the MS AV as its part of our licensing etc but back tracked after they said they were not focusing on it and since then its slipped down the charts so as much as I don't rate AVG either its still better than the MS Solutions.

No you don't want to do that Servers are heavy you load racks from the bottom upwards to stability so the patch panels weigh nothing so go at the top of the rack and servers etc all go at the bottom

@GrumbleDook your DLR from Stratford is wrong they changed the Timetable last year so only Woolwich Arsenal DLRs go from Stratford now nothing ever to Beckton. I believe they are running the Prince Regent to West Ham shuttle however so if you come from Stratford you go to either West Ham (if its running and it will be off-peak running only) so best go to Canning Town and then change to the upper level platform for Beckton.... however would suggest if you come from Stratford you go on the Jubilee Line to Canning Town as your right by the escalator for the Upper Level DLR Platforms

DLR are not cattle trucks outside of peak time, reason the DLR is cattle truck to ExCeL at peak is Newham Council Offices are 2 stops past the 1st ExCeL one thus its ExCeL punters and then the council staff and thus why its full when it gets to the hall for those leaving at 6pm. The trick at ExCeL which people seem to ignore me for is don't use the 1st stop for ExCeL as everyone waits at that one so go out of the FAR end of ExCeL at Prince Regent as you have more room that is how I managed, at peak get out time last year, get out and on theDLR with the Giant Beanbag from a stand without issues as the train was very empty at that stop and you avid the crush that Custom House for ExCeL was Driving can, as other have said, be evil, the M25 is evil as are many roads near to ExCeL so public transport shouldn't be that bad.

So a quick one back to your point... I have 0.5PB of storage attached to my VMware cluster how can I fit that with SSD, SAS, SATA and EMC Fast Cache in those hosts and share them please with your method of only have disks in hosts, should say due to rack space needs my hosts are Blades and they only have 2x HDD Slots, even if I swapped them out for 3 series HP DLs they would only have about 10 disk slots at the most....

HP Rack Servers are the best in my opinion we have LOTS of them and HP Blades around the world and they are great and I used them in my Edu days as well and never let me down. Switching, HP yep, Cisco should be looked at and Juniper as well they are great bits of kit.

I suspect this will be something that catches many out and comes as a shock in 2020 or so. People that are getting new PBX's now should be ensuring they are SIP ready OOB but vendors are not always that keen as they themselves see this is as something alien in some cases so if your tendering for new kit it should be a top feature so people like @timbo343 this needs thinking about
