Connecting Science stuff seemed to go on OK. Glad you have posted as there really is a need for software to work on VLE's not just as an added option but as a main source of sharing the resource. If companies are not complying to this new standard in schools then they shouldn't be saying their software is VLE compatible, in my opinion.

Sounds like a bit of a cop out to me :/ Surely they could put it into 2 parts at the very least, 20 is just rediculous.

I haven't come across one yet, would it be worth contacting the software provider to see if they can in the future provide a SCORM that not only has the 20 sections, but contains a full SCORM package for the entire contents. That seems to be the case for many software providers I have dealt with, it gives more flexability to the user without the need for a time consuming process if they just want the job lot. If you do find a way please let me in on the secret

FN-GM, that would be the case if you were registered as a UK limited company, but unfortunately not for self-employed purposes. You are accountable for all money going in and out of your bank account and so the tax lands on you. I wouldn't even attempt to cheat the system just because it wouldn't be worth it

I'm sorry but I don't believe that is the case, the threshold is a total amount you are 'allowed' before tax, if he is working full time his tax will be calculated to use up that amount thus any additional income would fall outside of this threshold and would need to declare it. Be careful you don't get yourselves into trouble!

Oh and from past experience 1&1 are a terrible/horrible company for billing. Absolute nightmare at moving domains, cancelling accounts, auto-billing for things you cancelled (or thought you had). If you do move away from the free EMBC then perhaps take a look at UK2. Have been good to me the past couple of years.

Which school you at mate? I've used EMBC many times and if you are using their internet providing service then it costs you nothing. It's Microsoft based hosting so you can use the edugeek joomla package!!! If you've got any other questions or want something a little more in depth (migration apparantly went t*ts up yesterday so roaming profiles have gone awol, arghhhh) then give me a pm mate
