Looking for a technical person with some experience of schools MIS in particular SIMS but could also be Arbor or Bromcom. It is a Term Time only role so the salary is pro rata'd, up to £25800 but it is also Hybrid so only 2 days in these offices (Either Dorking, Milton Keynes OR Hammersmith), rest from home! The last person we placed into this role, came from an IT technical apprenticeship from a school, increased his overall salary and got the holidays off so he could concentrate on further studies It's service desk work supporting schools who buy into an MIS support contract You will log calls and emails, attempt to assist quickly or work with the team to mange the support call through to successful closure. You could also be working on improving your own knowledge of the technology, helping to deliver online training, working on new documentation and helping with upgrades. Experienced IT technician, ideally with prior education experience, required to get stuck in with regular 1st and 2nd line IT support issues in an existing team. You could be in the classroom fixing desktop, laptop and device issues for a range of users. OR in the IT room managing backups, monitoring firewalls or assisting colleagues with more complex faults or projects. You will have good windows 10 knowledge as well as active directory and GPO, as well as knowledge of office 365 OR Google classrooms. This role would suit someone who requires a term time OR full time role, term time role based in the one school, full time and you would need to travel to assist with project work in greater Surrey area. The employer is a managed service company so there is potentially the scope for career advancement, project work and personal development. Our client, a well-established managed service provider with Client schools across the South East, are currently looking for an experienced Senior Technician with desire to manage lots of good Microsoft technologies to join their existing team within a Secondary School The school are always investing and are a highly technically rich school looking for next stage of tech advancement. Based on site close to Sidcup, you and your team will be responsible for ensuring a consistent ICT support service is delivered throughout the school. A Senior Engineer also visits the site every two weeks. You will be responsible for the ICT service throughout the school including both technical support and line management of IT staff, maintaining specialist equipment, repairs and upgrades, prioritising staff workloads, as well as advising and training junior staff.
