Bump, anyone know the answer or even better use this method?

Hi All, Could anyone confirm you can use Windows Server Backup to backup VM's which are on a cluster node, stored in the CSV? I believe this was supported since Server 2012 R2 but can't find anything confirming this in Microsoft documentation. Thank you, Rob

I think I should win this as I'm currently writing this on my old home PC at work as I couldn't bring myself to spend my budget on myself, but if I had a NVMe drive then I'd have to buy the rest! New PC woop woop!

That might just have done it. Still early days to be sure but couldn't get it to fail for me after disabling Intel Management Engine Interface in Device Manager.

I've used a tippex pen before. Basically a paint pen but its reliant on your hand writing.

On your scanning page you can set a single email with is how we do it with account authentication.

We moved to sending from a single account which authenticates directly with O365. If you can do this it'll save work trying to make exceptions in your spam filter.

BIOS update applied and now pressing 'INS' during POST allows you to enter the supervisor password and unlock setup or the boot menu! At last a solution.

Ok so the above video restarting it and entering UFEI works to get you in to BOIS but still doesn't ask for a password. So I can see all the settings but can't change any. So its the same as pressing F2 at startup. I can get in just can't enter a password to unlock the settings. Going to try and install a BOIS update and see if that helps.

I'll give that a go tomorrow. I can get in to BIOS just not found a way to enter the supervisor password. We'll see if this route prompts for it.

Hi All, I have a number of Toshiba Sat Pro R50-B Laptops as the supervisor password seems to be a real pain on the lot of them. Each time I come to enter it or even set it I have problems. I have one laptop with a supervisor password set. However I can't for the life of me work out how you enter it. Hold F2 while rebooting allows me in to a ready only version of BIOS but no box to enter the password exists. Other toshiba laptops use INS to enter the password during boot but had no luck with that either. Del or Esc don't seem to do anything either. I know I can likly reset it inside the laptop but I'd like to know if there is a way of entering it to unlock the BIOS or is it a one time deal. Thanks, Rob

I don't believe your core CAL pack includes RDS licences. You need to purchase these separately. Then a normal windows server licence covers the server itself (Which you might already have in our OVS-ES agreement if you purchase that. However as always, check with your reseller. You need to study for thousands of years to become an expert in Microsoft Licensing, then they change it.

Hi All, I've been testing MFA on our remote desktop server but come across an issue I just can't get my head around. We have MFA enabled for all our staff and a lot of them have simply used the text code method rather than the app. I've followed the below guide on setting up MFA for Remote Desktop: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/azure/active-directory/authentication/howto-mfa-nps-extension-rdg Which works so long as you use the phone app verify or phone call. We had XP clients and been updated to Windows 10. Installed in 2014 so tills aren't that old. They even had SSDs already! Not that that stopped NRS 'upgrading' them to a 120GB SSD. The same size as they already had. Luckily they left the old ones so I have two more for stock now.

This is on my list and I was planning on using Xibo on a cheap atom based pc from amazon. That way you can display other information if needed such as assemblies or exam time tables.

We're running fusion very well here. It's deploy with a script I made (which I can send when back at work, but search on here for my name and you should find it). It's a pretty basic script but is working well for us. You sign up for update notifications from Autodesk, download the new installer when released and replace it on the server. Update the date in the script and that's it. Some Autodesk urls might be needed in your filter but otherwise its low maintainace, at least for us.

Could you take a picture of the till for me? Also, have you moved company or just upgraded?

Just remember to edit your SPF record or they'll go to junk.
