  1. Could you export the VM to a Windows 10 PC which can act as a Hyper-V host? If it boots up and runs smoothly then it would point to a Host to VM issue, rather than the VM itself.
  2. Do you have a power USB hub you could put in between somewhere? When you have long cable runs the voltage can often cause problems and a power USB hub can then 'Boost' the voltage.
  3. Yep another vote for this lot here. They take anything. Our facilities staff love it as old lights & equipment can be put in too.
  4. Where do you point to for your database, we had this problem as the network database (IE the share with the database on) was a newer version. We found an 'Update' exe on that share which upgraded the installed version to the correct one to open the database.
  5. True, however they want to push Powershell for this. However as a small school doing the 50 at a time option worked for us.
  6. http://Www.Neowin.Net
  7. Yep working fine for us. I'd need to check at work on the version but other than a few DLLs which need to be manually registered it works. For how long who knows.
  8. The 20 students limit is a bit of a lie. It'll do 50 if you select them yourself using the tick boxes.
  9. Looks right then. Sorry I'm out of ideas at this point then.
  10. Does your wildcard cert match/cover you server name and internal domain?
  11. What OS and certificate are you trying to use with this? Windows 7 is very picky about certificates. It needs to be a public trusted one. Windows 10 on the other hand (And iOS) seems to accept a self signed so long as its valid and pre-installed. In the end I pointed UniFi to the BYOD Radius service on our Smoothwall. Works well for our BYOD network, guests just need to click on 'Trust' (iOS) or 'Don't validate' (Android) to get connected. Plus with the Smoothwall passing this auth to the web filter as well you get the right filtering applied.
  12. Also, when you restart does the Smartboard (Or any second display) show the BIOS splash screen?
  13. Have you tried to drive the smart board with a different resolution or refresh rate via the Intel display settings?
  14. A lot of print drives have a way of getting this to pop up when printing rather than going and finding it.
  15. Hi Mate, Still reporting me as spam, sorry. The bug was basically that our exam officer managed to get the pop up toolbar over the top of the text. By the look of it when using the numbered list? I've attached the screenshot. Thanks, Rob PS: Great software! Thank you
  16. Hi Mate, I'm trying to log a bug on your website but your site seems to think I'm a spam bot. As far as I know I'm not. I mean, what a way to find out... Cheers, Rob
  17. @VeryPC Flex Micro got my vote. Advantages of the all in one but not the disadvantage of it being a single unit.
  18. Check your certificates, different OSs have different requirements. I know Windows 7 requires a valid public certificate (Unless you have Root CA installed). Windows 10 on the other hand doesn't seem to care so long as its in date.
  19. Depends on your location, but: C-Tech Use them for cabling and door access. Fantastic service from them on all our jobs.
  20. Hi All, I have the following up for grabs before it heads to our WEEE bin. 1x ZF7372 11x ZF7363 1x ZoneDirector ZD1106 It will have made its way to the WEEE bin by 1st October. Thank you. Rob
  21. Thank you, looks good. I guess no agents are needed on devices to monitor them?
  22. Have you got any screenshots of this? do you run it on a Pi 3? Thanks
  23. I'd suggest you look at Zortrax printers. Especially M200. My partner runs a business using them and there very reliable machines and produce good quality prints. Make sure you get the sides and hood if you do go this route! Another thing to look at is getting a demo / loan printer. A lot of firms offer schools this now.
  24. USB? Simple to use so long as there device installs it, or is already installed.
  25. No Office 365. Ive not managed to run autoruns yet as I'm only onsite for a few hours a week. If also not seen it happen when onsite this week. I'll update what I find, if I find it again!
