  1. Hi all, We seem to be having an issue with google meets, whenever we record a meet, the recording is then owned by whoever is first into the meet, rather then the owner of the classroom. Even though that person hasn't select to record the meet. Hope this makes sense. Thanks, Ross
  2. Thanks for you help with this. It's working now.
  3. Thanks for the reply, i've cleared all the lists, but I've got 1 that won't remove from one of the allow lists. I clear it, go back in and it's still there. Any ideas?
  4. Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help, I'm getting reports from multiple students/teachers to say that impero is blocking every website they go on to. They keep getting an error that says "The website you tried to access is not on the Allowed List", but without allowing every single website, how else can I fix this? Disclaimer, I'm no good when it comes to impero. Thanks, Ross
  5. You'd think, but these are teachers. Plus we don't have a bell and now all the times have changed for the different year groups.
  6. We don't have a school bell.
  7. Hi All, A bit of a strange one, but i've been asked to look into scheduling a message to pop up on all teachers laptops to let them know when it's the end of a lesson. Can anyone help? Only way I can think of doing this is adding an event in everyone outlook, but then it requires them to have outlook open, which some of them don't. Thanks, Ross
  8. Hi, It's been a long 5 months and I've can't for the life of me remember how to add a user group to enable them to log onto the computers? HELLLPPPPPPPP!!! Thanks, Ross
  9. Hi, I'm getting staff come to me after the christmas break letting me know they can't connect to our BYOD-Staff WLAN, it appears they've all be requested to change their passwords on returning, shouldn't be an issue right! We are using a server with RADIUS on to authenticate the users. The main issue I'm having it that it only appears to be staff members, all the students appear to be working fine (even after a password change) and my account (domain admin/ICT) appears to be working fine even after a password change. Thanks in advanced!
  10. thanks for the reply. I've checked the ruckus zonedirector and it appears no ca certificate is even installed. Where would I acquire one of these?
  11. Hi, We have a BYOD set up for both staff and students. Recently all windows devices won't connect to the, but mobile and tablet devices work fine. BYOD-Staff - Doesn't work BYOD-Student - Doesn't work Student - Works Staff - Works the only difference I can find are the BYOD WLANs require a username and password from the students to work. Thanks in advanced.
  12. Does anyone have any recommendations for a plasitc card printer? I think ours is on its away out, over an hour to print 50 cards.
  13. Hi, We're getting reports from the Headteacher who recently just received a iphone on three. She wants to use Three Wifi Calling, but when it's enabled the phone call is very hit and miss and you can hear every other word for around 10 seconds until it completely cuts out. Has anyone else heard of this? We have ruckus wireless AP around the school but it only seems to happen around 1 area of the school, which happens to be the heads office. The AP is plugged into a netgear S3300 switch. Thanks in advanced.
  14. Hi, I'm trying to connect to a server through virtual office on sonic wall, everytime i attempt to connect, i get this error message "SSL required by server". The SSL certificate is up to date on the sonicwall, does the server which i'm trying to use as a RDP require a ssl certificate as well? If so, where and how do I do this? Thanks in advanced.
  15. We are using hosted SIMS and are not able to open on any Macs using Microsoft Remote Desktop. I've added it using remote resources. What happens is, you open the app, launch SIMS.net, it goes through the loading process, then before you get to the SIMS home page, it disappears. The only way I can get it to open is by closing Microsoft remote desktop, re-open and follow the process again. Once clicked on the app, go to WINDOWS along the top bar, and the SIMS home page is there. Sorry this is vague, but I only had around 20 minutes with the said Mac.
