Plug a keyboard in and you should be able to change it yourself. I doubt Civica have improved security since they upgraded our tills a few years ago.

Hi All, I'd like to stop student changing there Office 365 profile picture (Which we bring in from Bromcom) but it is still the case you can block it in SharePoint and Exchange, but not Teams? Has anyone got any advice on doing so? Thanks, Rob

@ass17 Have you come across Interactive Electronic Question Papers from EdExcel? Our exam officer has just mentioned them. They appear to be PDF files which you can type in. Wondered if they could be imported to ExamWritePad so we still get things like auto save and control over the interface.

Do the machine have speakers or headphones? Is it just that they don't have any sound device connected or active and that causes the software to lock up? Seems a bit extreme mind.

The tick I think is sending from a 'Custom Email' rather than the users. As Papercut can't authenticate for that user. So you tell is to use a 'Custom Email' then make sure it's got the username and password in Options>Notifications>SMTP Server Options Host: smtp.office365.com - Port 587 Encryption: TLS Username: Custom email used Password: Password for above email

We use Teams so the SharePoint site is linked to the department Team. This means they manage who is and isn't in the team. We sync teams back to AD as well so you can manage membership via that method too if needed, as well as the Office 365 Portal and Team Admin Portal.

No problem, I've moved to using this for onsite AD as we sync AD with Office 365. It's very odd sometimes what passwords it blocks so I've gone to using random passwords now rather than trying to create temporary ones for first logins or guests to use. It meant we could get rid of the requirement for a complex password which a number of our students (And some staff) struggled with.

It only takes affect if folder redirection isn't set. So as long as your other year groups carry on using folder redirection, they won't migrate.

First you need to bring either 12V positive or negative from the power supply to the COM on relay one on the controller. NC is normally closed which means 'ON' when the door should be locked, which is what you want for a mag lock. So if you have 12V positive at your COM on your controller, your mag lock negative goes to the break glass and then back to 12V negative on the power supply. This is important as your break glass must disconnect the mag lock for safety, even if the controller has failed.

I'm guessing you don't have DVI or Displayport as well as HDMI do you?

On friday morning I woke up to see an email on my phone saying I'd won, I thought it was still dreaming but no, it was real! The video comfirmed that yes, they really had picked me. It's fair to say I was in quite a bit of shock at this. So after being in shock on Friday and a busy weekend, I've finally managed to post on here. A big thank you to @PaperCut for picking me, very proud of what I do at the school but I never expected such a fantastic award. A huge thank you as well to my boss for nominating me and all the fantastic colleagues I work with who support me. It's fair to say my job is pretty varied in my small school, we all have a chip in and get it done attitude.

Can you use ISCSI rather than a file share. It's the preferred method for Windows server backup anyway.
