Is this in responce to my question ? The client machines are both bounded to AD and OD . The users login with AD usernames/passwords .. But no policy seems to get pushed to them ? Computers seem to work fine
-
Did you manage to get this working ? All our machines will be binded to AD and OD My test mac can apply Policys to the computer , but any AD user or AD group and the policy doesnt even get sent from profile manager ? ports are all open on the server and on the client to negate any of these issues but it just wont even attempt to push to any AD user/Group even though i have enable it to do so ! .

I have the Sonos Play bar With the latest firmware release you can connect a Connect Amp/ Zp120 to it ( wireless ) and use a couple of normal speakers as rear speakers Alternatively , you can connect play 1's or play 3's as rear speakers without the connect amp.

Just curious , can any one with a dedicated IP browse to the website schoolwebsite .co .UK and tell me if they ring you with 10-20 mins. Never known a company to do this , but is very annoying when you just want to view there portfolio ! Thanks 2097

Pay off your laptop , and then seek a room to rent else where . That sort of house does not seem a nice place to live . If you was to rent a flat i probably would even be inclined to take your sister with you as the house hold you describe does seem very toxic .

Hi , We have an old type PBX phone system at the school . We currently have a line going into the office that works fine . Basically what we want is to have two phones going off the same line ( we don't want them independent , we just want to share the line so say if the phone rings either one of us can answer from each phone ) . The Phone guy said its possible with some type of PBX line splitter/amplifier type device but searching has come to no avail ! . Any one done this in there office ? and know what we need ? Many thanks 2097

Exchange Server 2003, relay all meesages after GMail Migration
2097 replied to netpage's topic in Windows Server 2000/2003
I think the best way if you want to keep local copy's as well as forwarding on to a external system would just set the individual Mailbox to forward onto the appropriate external mailbox . This can obviously be done in exchange or with the AD addon . -

Does google give you your own smtp dns name ? i.e. SMTP.SCHOOLNAME.co.uk ? or mail.schoolname.co.uk if so have you changed your internal DNS entrys IP address to poiint to the new external IP ? Or have i miss-read and you actually want to keep it all internal and just want to forward on all the messages to your google apps mailboxs -
Wasnt IIS 6 prone to the Unicode Exploit also ? Id suggest changing over to Apache/Centos . Only reason we use IIS is for anything asp related such as Home Access Plus

Load Balancing Terminal Services 2003 - Best Method ?
2097 replied to 2097's topic in Windows Server 2000/2003
We are using Ipcop for internal routing , i didnt actually realise it could do Round robin DNS . But apparently it can Thank you ( solves all the issues ) ( and sort of does make sense considering its Linux and uses Iptables "Face-Palm" ) But ! localzuk has thrown a spanner in the works and has introduced the TS gateway and web interface which would be really beneficial ! so i will be testing that out also ! -
Load Balancing Terminal Services 2003 - Best Method ?

Right makes a lot more sense now. can the Gateway role and Session Broker be installed onto the one single front facing server ? then have two Terminal servers as part of the farm . -
Load Balancing Terminal Services 2003 - Best Method ?
2097 replied to 2097's topic in Windows Server 2000/2003
Indeed our ipcop firewall does port forwarding to the internal IP/PORT of the current terminal server. But from what ive read i assume roundrobin will require a different IP address for each server ? Can you explain a little bit more in detail of how your gateway server works -

Quick question , We only use our Remote desktops externally . Would this mean we need a few public/internet ip address's to use round robin ?
