I donate every 4 months atm - for your first time I'd definitely get a lift. It does affect different people in different ways. I'm usually fine to drive, but my wife is usually a bit groggy after her draining... Well done chap...

Love it, love it, love it!! Check the geek joke at 3:12 which falls on stony silence

"I wanted to meet interesting and stimulating people of an ancient culture, and kill them. I wanted to be the first kid on my block to get a confirmed kill."

...is correct!

I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smells like... [sniffing, pondering] ...Victory. Someday this war's gonna end... [suddenly walks off]

Burn After Reading Osbourne Cox: And you're my wife's lover? Ted Treffon: [shaking his head] No. Osbourne Cox: Then what are you doing here? [pause] Osbourne Cox: I know you. You're the guy from the gym. Ted Treffon: I'm not here representing HardBodies. Osbourne Cox: Oh, yes. I know very well what you represent. [pause] Osbourne Cox: You represent the idiocy of today. Ted Treffon: No, I don't represent that either. Osbourne Cox: Yeah. You're the guy at the gym when I asked about that moronic woman. Ted Treffon: She's not a moron. Osbourne Cox: You're in league with that moronic woman. You are part of a league of morons. Ted Treffon: No. No. Osbourne Cox: Oh, yes. You see, you're one of the morons I've been fighting my whole life. My whole f****** life. But guess what... Today, I win. [gun shot]

On the plus side - mostly decent components for a great price, they run nice and fast (especially if you stick an SSD in them!), cheap. On the minus side - cases are cheap and thin/sharp edges, no OS, PSU fans are quite noisy. Overall we're more than happy with the performance for the price - we have about 6 in use so far... We would buy more...

We chose a Siemens HiPath system in 2004. After being told we could easily expect 10 years from it, 5 years later it was EOL and no longer supported by Siemens and we had resellers trying to hard sell us a newer model. For this alone we will not be considering Siemens as an option for our next purchase - Avaya is looking favourite for us in the next couple of years.

'Maths and Sport: Countdown to the Games' is an exciting new project from the award-winning Millennium Mathematics Project at the University of Cambridge. To celebrate London 2012 we're developing free online mathematical resources exploring maths and science through the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Resources are divided into two types of content - activities for students aged 5 to 18 (UK Key Stages 1 through to 5 - most including teachers' notes) and articles aimed at older students and the interested general reader. We've been trialling them here, ready to install in our boarding house when the refurb is finished - performance is on a par with the unmanaged Netgear prosafe AP's we have used in the past plus they add roaming between AP's, Management controller, guest network ootb and they're cheaper... what's not to like really? They seem reliable so far to us...
