We used to use a company to print them but the quality wasn't the best. We now print onto synthetic paper in house. Image, Logo, name and department on the front, with emergency contact details on the back. We then place it into a card holder with a lanyard. Has been working well for us and the quality is really good from our MFDs.

Has anyone been asked to use this in classrooms? I've got a few teachers that want to open files that use Blackboard Collaborate Launcher but it installs into the users folder on the C: drive and only works for the user who installed it (me). I cant find a way to change the install location, ideally want it in program files. Anyone experienced this? Thanks!

I'm having this problem with a bunch of iPad Minis, i'm getting "push certificate non-compliant" on any devices registered with DEP. Did you find a fix?

Can anyone recommend some decent tripods for the iPad? I'm trying to find one that swivels so it can be used as a visualiser. Most of the ones i've found online have either no reviews or pretty poor ones. Thanks!

Epson are now doing an ultra short throw interactive projector with pen and finger touch, been quoted £1680.

They're coming down then, still more than double the cost of a projector, personally I dont think the benefits mentioned are huge and don't justify that extra expense. It would add up quickly doing it in just a few classrooms.

How much do these screens cost? Last i looked it was around 8-10k for a screen with the same size image you can get with a projector.

I love the idea of a touch screen TV but until they fall dramatically in price I wont be looking at them. The Interactive Whiteboard for me is a thing of the past, we use Interactive projectors in all classrooms, projecting onto a standard whiteboard so it doesn't cost a fortune every time a teacher uses permanent marker on the whiteboard. The projectors come with a 5 year lamp warranty so we get free replacements, after the warranty runs out, the projector is up for replacement.

When I tried a new application it told me the domain was already registered. Struggling to access their support system as it asks for an admin user, which I don't know.

We're looking at Google Apps for education but it would appear that a previous employee has already registered our domain with Google. They've not left any documentation and I have no idea what email address they've used. Is anyone aware of how I can find out whose registered our domain?

So I moved house the other week and Sky wont connect my internet for 2 more weeks!! Not impressed as I cant start my online crime empire until mid December! The single player campaign is keeping me entertained though.

Kicked off my Download of GTA on Xbox One last night (43gb!!), it took too long so went to bed! I Look forward to getting online when I get home. I've heard rumours of heists...... I heard these rumours last year on the 360 version too. Will they ever apear??

I think the save points are what make the game so difficult/frustrating. It is a good game though, the atmosphere that is created is unlike anything else i've played. I imagine it will drop in price, Simply games were doing the standard version for £32 i think.

Yeah I know what you mean. If the thing kills me a couple of times I get annoyed and turn it off.

You can install 32bit and 64bit drivers on a 64bit server.

Only the projectors, they get done in the summer. We don't generally clean the PCs unless they are obviously filthy.

Yeah I think that's the only way to do it as the drives are formatted differently for Windows 8.
