  1. We have issued a new resource pack (AMPARK) with all of these defined. Use our ones to get Progress & Attainment 8 "out of the box" analysis.
  2. I think I'd ask them to list what data they are accessing/writing. The access level does seem high. Group Call is a partner and our team can assist them if requested.
  3. I'm on & remote
  4. A few posts have asked about how the change request system works. In response to that we've detailed the process and listed the planning sessions that have taken place. This link describes this https://myaccount.capita-cs.co.uk/Search/DownloadDocument?s=RESOURCEID-1-4033#
  5. Grid analysis is a powerful way of doing this type of calculation. Its an output from the Report Generator.
  6. I've asked the team to review because I think they are being ultra cautious. That isn't to say that this will have any effect on support dates. Their view is that they have to have tested every possible route and combination which is very thorough.
  7. Try here https://myaccount.capita-cs.co.uk/changerequests/
  8. It was using Google Docs in particular that concerned me. If a school is storing sensitive data in documents that are held on Google servers then it could be outside the EU and that isn't as I understand it legal.
  9. I knew MS held data in the EU but thought Google weren't as clear. Have you got a link to their policy? Thanks Phil
  10. I'd be very interested in members views on the use of Google in light of the Safe harbour changes i.e. sensitive personal data must not be held outside the EU. It seems to me that using Google Docs etc. could expose a school to contravening Safe Harbour rules?
  11. The last release supported via S2 is Spring 16. You have until the summer release to move to S3
  12. I had heard an exams officer say midnight but you may well be right!
  13. I'd raise a support call.
  14. Quite a lot of our schools email results directly to pupils. Views are mixed but those that chose to email do so for a number of reasons. Results can be issued at midnight Results may not be good and its better for the pupil to receive these away from public glare Families are freer to take a holiday
  15. Thanks for the explanation - I'm afraid they are in a class and will show on mark sheets attached to that class.
  16. We do not have an automatic alert for this, however, we do have a report that can be run, it is the ‘Compare marks by Column report, it will highlight those student that have received a mark in the day and then gone absent in a subsequent lesson or session registration.
  17. @123sch I don't think so. If someone is in a class they are in a class! Can you give an indication of the circumstances?
  18. There's a routine called "edit marks".
  19. The Excel route is not great from a data protection perspective as medical info is considered to be sensitive. @bobsmith your method is fine.
  20. @bong69 - I had this explained to me now. The Teacher App doesn't as yet update dinner registers hence the supervisor lists being blank. Dinner Money features are being added to Teacher App later this year.
  21. @bong69 - do you have a case number?
  22. @GREED thanks for your prompt. With regard to our hosted SIMS offering - we can tell when an individual logs on to the service and therefore who has access to the data at specific times. What we cannot do is tell what the individual data is that they have looked at.
  23. We can carry over supplier details and ledger codes. You would not want to carry over LA data.
  24. It won't affect the census or attendance figures if you start the academic year early; many schools do. I would be concerned about admitting children before they actually join the school. If they get a start date of June, I'd expect to be recording attendance from then.
  25. At present the only app available is for teachers. There will be a app for parents this year and if I get my way pupils too!
