  1. Hi Mukz, That would be great thank you.
  2. Good morning, I hope somebody can help me out with this. I am trying to create a SIMS report that provides me with the Student Attendance % and the total behaviour points between a date range that can be selected at run time. (ie. a half term) I can create them both separately but i am struggling to get them on the same report. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Andrew
  3. Good afternoon, Not sure if i have put this post in the correct place. Apologies if I have. I have a large volume of PDFs that I need to print for class teachers but I only want to print pages 1-3 of each document. I do not want to open each document and pint a page selection. Is there a way to save these settings like you would a printing profile. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Andrew
  4. I thought of creating a marksheet with all the required fields. This is workable for KS3 but not for KS4 because I cannot add multiple classes to a marksheet to check which students should have data. Or is that possible without exporting them and uploading them to an aspect?
  5. Good morning, I have read some old threads about data checking on this website but I am wondering if anyone has any easier ways to check data staff have inputted in SIMS. I currently manually check each marksheet to check the required data has been inputted by staff. This is a long process. Does anyone have any quicker ways to check data? Ps. I cannot trust staff to tick the button on SIMS when the data has been entered. Thanks, and have a great holiday (If you get a holiday) Andrew
  6. Good afternoon, Just wondering if anyone knows a way to print off medical info for a group of students across different year groups/forms. If we have a trip for example that has students from all year groups we are having to print the medical info for all students then filter this list down in excel to the students that are going on the trip. Seems very long winded. Is there a way to select only a group of students? Thanks for any help. Andrew
  7. Just had the demo for SISRA seems to tick all the boxes for staff wishing to interrogate the data. I think it lacks some standard reports that can be quickly printed but then i suppose that is what SIMS is for.
  8. Thanks for your thoughts. Our current reports that we provide staff are very comprehensive. I have told my college who created them to get out there and get them sold. They are brilliant. It is just becoming too much doing everything for staff hopefully one of these products can lighten the load and make staff interact with their own data
  9. The issue i have is that we currently provide class data and transition matrices to all staff using reports we have built in Excel that use data extracted from SIMS. We upload these reports as PDFs on to the network so staff can see their own classes. I do not think either piece of software can replace this process unless staff are willing to log on and interact with the data themselves.
  10. Hi, Yes SISRA seems to be the more popular choice. I think you need to export the data from SIMS for SISRA and 4Matrix. It is just the idea of exporting everything to excel each time that is putting me off SISRA 4Matrix seems to have built in reports that i could just print direct after the data is uploaded for teaching staff instead of exporting large volumes of data back in to excel.
  11. Good morning, I am not sure if i have posted this in the correct location. If i haven't let me know please. I am currently looking at purchasing either SISRA or 4Matrix to help with our analysis. I have read a thread on here comparing both tools but that was in 2013. I am just wondering if anyone has any new thoughts on either pieces of software. It seems to me that SISRA seems to be a more web based analytical tool and 4matrix is better for reporting/printing reports. Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Andrew
