S2 will not be supported after spring release. Either S3, ISO delivery is needed.
-
It's all part of entitlement and available through AMPARK.

I'm pretty sure that the calendar sets what academic year you are in - I could be wrong but that's what I'd expect.
-
You probably understand the risk. Changing a comment's meaning after it has been used could completely alter what a teacher has said. Hence the restrictions - correction is another matter.
-
It's still on the wish list I'm afraid

@thorpee we do not think your issues are to do with InTouch but we are struggling to understand what the underlying issue is and not for want of trying. InTouch is running normally on our servers.

PhilNeal replied to ridleyrumpus's topic in MIS Systems
Your school will have a support provider. For you're stuck give me a PM. I'm out today though!! -
TA is designed for tablet use - you shouldn't be able to download onto a phone! (At least not in AppStore)

Please log a case. -
RemoteApp allows you to run virtually any thick client in Azure and render on Chromebooks, iPads etc. It is very effective!

Normally the problem with TP applications and new academic years is that they require pupils to be admitted; they use the adno to make the link. Admitting pupils before they arrive is not good practice. It is possible for them to avoid this problem if they engage with our partner team we can advise.

We work closely with MS so you can expect movement here. We'd like to work closely with Apple but they aren't structured in that way.

You can expect some news around BETT 2017.

[sims] Spring 2016 showing incorrect "What's New" document
PhilNeal replied to Stuajnht's topic in MIS Systems
Here's a note about this issue from our service desk: This issue has arisen a number of times in the past, and can be traced back to the failure of part of a SIMS upgrade. If you are a SOLUS3 user, it appears as though the File Server settings in SOLUS3 are configured incorrectly, leading to a failure in the upgrade of SIMSApplicationSetup.exe. Customers who have experienced this issue in the past have pointed the File Server to the network SIMS drive, rather than the local SIMS drive. After re-deploying the File Server update and running it manually, the issue is resolved. KB-420075, KB-423182 and KB87969 -
[sims] Quick Question about SIMS from Non-SIMS user
PhilNeal replied to ntm1275's topic in MIS Systems
It's managed through enrolment dates. There isn't a flag. -
Here's the relevant email should you need it. [email protected]

@truebluesteve if you have an issue with an analyst please raise it directly with our service managers so we can help that person do a better job. Thanks Phil
-
It's a database patch and available now on S2 & 3
-
A patch has been written and should be issued in the next couple of days. We have three cases of this very specific problem reported with over a thousand downloads.
-
Suggest you raise a case. I had a child approach me at BETT worried about this very problem!
-
No sales guys should be saying anything!
-
I'll copy these to our product manager. Thanks everyone Phil

@Banjo we strongly believe in local support and our plans are definitely not to cut out the people that schools trust.
-
@RootsSchlmp please detail this in a change request. We're redesigning AM at the moment.
