JackCPickup Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Plenty of snow, all other schools closed for miles around...we're still open -.- most of the kids have been collected by parents so only about 50 left and still they want me, an apprentice IT technician, to stay

sidewinder Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Kids were allowed to be picked up from ours from 1, I left at 1.30 (only have to get agreement from my line manager) and got home just as half of the overground was getting shut down. But now it's totally stopped snowing and all the trains are running again so I feel a bit bad! I just thought it would get worse and worse. Oh well...

Doesn't stop the idiots picking clean Asda's shelves though, nor did it stop parents phoning to find out if today's school trip would go ahead! Which it did. Only good thing was a complete lack of traffic on the A12. Home in 40 minutes through a Friday rush hour!
