laserblazer Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Just got back to my office and found a box of Praline seashells on my desk. Grateful thanks from a 1 on 1 teacher who was stuck in a storeroom with no heating and I loaned her my fan heater. I've eaten three already.
Gibbo Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Nothing here either, but maybe because this past month I've been laying into teachers a bit more for their incompetence. I don't care. I'd rather they use the equipment correctly or at least respect it than have a card on my desk. 1
witch Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 ohh. ohh - got in to my second school to find a card and one of those mini celebration packs from the Year 4 teachers - bless!

mrbios Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 What sort of horrible present is carlsberg, pffttt. They could of been more thoughtful and made it an ale bloody disgusting fizzy pop that is lagar
Duane_Dibbley Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I've had none...don't break up till Friday tho so here's hoping :S. I did get a snickers today from one of the TA's, but this was less a present and more of my winnings from a bet. She claimed she couldn't log on, I said if I come all the way down and you can log on then you owe me some chocolate...she owed me some chocolate. Maybe I can pretend its some kind of festive snickers, paint the wrapper red or something. Last year I got one card which was from a student.
SimpleSi Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 On the 2nd day of the last week a headteacher gave to me.... 6 Bottles of Ale. Simon (@little-miss it was a 1/2 bottle of whiskey not 1/2 a bottle of whiskey )

glennda Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 We recieved today our year box of quality streets and mugs from out supplier! Somehow i think we might be giving him to much money!!
rad Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 gift from a supplier - err non. I used to work for a company where every order had harribo in it and a cuddly toy, mind you sales women sounded hot, but was probably the total opposite.
SimpleSi Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 (edited) Part of my secret santa present at one school Edited December 15, 2010 by SimpleSi 1
mthomas08 Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Most of our staff have been doing donations instead of cards. Although we have been given three lots of biscuits/chocs. I plan on going out with a load of people who tend to buy me a drink firday so I think I dont pretty well
El_Nombre Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 I got one from a PE teacher and I've got a share in a box of chocolate fingers. Contemplating tying up the boss and taking his half too; can't eat fingers when you're all kidnapped. Just thinking out loud there...

speckytecky Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Merry Christmas to ye all fellow Edugeeks Spa voucher from Governors in one school. Sweeite gift from Head and a few cards from the other staff - most know not to bother as they know I hate Birthdays and Christmas. The latter being a commercial humbug, almost divorced completely from the religious occasion it started out as Just a verbal thank you from a few of the kids (and or their parents) who attend the ICT Clubs I run though would be warmly welcomed!!
AshMan91 Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 I have 5 cards at the minute, but I've got about 4 more to collect
Flakes Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 1 card. pack of minstrels off one of the catering staff. other than that nothing.
