Probably for a "back in mah day..." speech, lucky it wasn't a request for a class set...... (But apparently the NYPD still loves them)

Naughty, naughty. It is against the law to handle bats in the UK without the correct licence.

 You need a licence for everythng nowadays.... bloody stupid!

I've just been asked by someone why the can't use the Epsom A3 from their office.

I've replyed suggesting the quickest route from Epsom to the A3 is to head north along the A24 and then turn on the A240 (Kingston road).

The IT manager is not impressed.

I've had a couple of weird ones recently.

1) Can I fix a students mobile phone. It stopped working after she dropped it in the toilet.

2) Can I take a photo of the skin my pet snake has just shed. Even brought the skin in to school!

Needless to say, I did 2) but 1) was a non starter!

Think the best one I had was

1. Can you fix this PS 2, whenever its moved it knocks the power out - took it apart and re soldered the power cables so that the power socket was firmly seated in place so when moved did not effect the power of the console

2. Can you fix Dell laptops - ended up having to do all sorts to them from re seating mini wifi cards to totally taking them apart and cleaning out dust and reseating graphics card cables etc

"Can you fix this stapler for me?"

Tried, but got bored - Network Manager got curious, he got bored and binned it.
