No it comes as part of server 2012 r2. You have to add server essentials experience as a role. Windows Server Essentials Experience Overview

We use 2012 r2 standard with the essentials plug-in. This will auto-magically integrate with office 365, azure and in-tune. plus it will set up remote PC access for you. fantastic piece of software, i really like it anyway. And if you use the standard version with the essentials plugin your not restricting your user count.

I love Visio. It has everything already in there for network diagrams in the 2013 version

because the traffic going through tmg is subject to filtering also. you need to make sure you disable all filtering rules etc on tmg as it has its own urlsets or categories that get blocked i'd just make sure that none of those features are turned on.

I would imagine so. But seems as you can't use your spare one because your images aren't on there couldn't you test with that? Would save you some time as the spare is unusable anyway. I'm 100% sure it works in my environment but as i said earlier .29 may be different.

I have done it numerous times on 0.32 but try it on your spare first as i don't know whether 0.29 installation will recreate the mysql tables. on .32 it just overwrites the settings and keeps all the information intact.

Have you tried reinstalling fog over the top of the existing installation?

Go into forefront TMG click network on the left hand pane, then in the right hand pane you'll get 7 option tabs one of those being web chaining. you'll need to edit your rule you had set up.

Sorted it now. I had caching enabled on the forefront box which was set to 20gb. so i deleted the cached file and everything is now working spot on.

I'm having a strange issue with my maths here and wondered if anybody else had a similar issue. the issue is when you go to a topic and select the lesson or home work you get a popup window which should have the resource appear but on my machines you only get an empty white box where the flash animation should be. this only happens when you access mymaths through our internal proxy server (forefront tmg 2010) and if i connect directly to the lancs proxy server it works fine. the thing is it was working fine last week and no settings had been changed prior to the service going down. so i'm a bit stumped with this one now. Thanks in advance.

On our setup for hap i'm using the email address [email protected] and that works fine when i'm creating tickets from the admin account but when i try to create a ticket with an actual user i get a "550 5.7.1 Client does not have permissions to send as this sender" error message. and seems as we are using the county email system i can't administer the exchange server at all. problem goes away if i have the itsupport email set in active directory for each user but obviously that won't keep the users involved in the loop. would it possible to implement in the system a way of always sending mail out of the system with out cross referencing the AD email address. so it was always sent as the itsupport email and not trying to send as the current logged in user? Hope that makes sense. thanks in advance.
