  1. i used little green button https://www.littlegreenbutton.com/gb/
  2. Securus is amazing for us and they offer great value for money. I think they do free trials too
  3. just a quick one can you rename the mysims folder in the users home drive and try again it stores some garbage in this location maybe something in that has got corrupt
  4. big screw through the base problem solved, or we could try classroom management, I know it's a long shot, but you never know
  5. is it something to do with the projector ID consult the manual https://download.epson-europe.com/pub/download/6473/epson647383eu.pdf page 79 i think
  6. mosyle are great for setting up, even if you use the free version
  7. might be cheaper time wise to get a company in to do that for you, they will have done it 1000 times and they know what to look out for
  8. not a help but we have a similar issue on 2004 do you use unifi ap's by any chance i find a quick wifi trouble shoot and a reboot fixes it for us, like you said it is random never got to the bottom of it again its only windows pc's ipconfig /release and renew sometimes works
  9. no matter what they say your budget is do not accept it when it comes to backups dont skimp Local backup to Nas backup every vm every night and sims is done every hour (sql and doc storage) separatly (probably overkill but you can never have enough backups Offsite to wasabi bucket and I also backup to encrypted usb drives as a mirror which i take out each week and swap basically 3 backups on different media types. another thing test test test a backup is only good if you know it works
  10. think they use cam locks so if you can get into the trolley you can change them with a generic one (lapsafe do a good selection of locks and keys) we pay about 30 quid for a lock with two keys
  11. give it ago on a test pc worth a shot
  12. Try adding this registry entry on a test pc: Registry Location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Printers\PointAndPrint DWord: RestrictDriverInstallationToAdministrators Value: 0 i think the issue is that the driver can not be installed but previous users have already gone through the installation process before a dodgy windows update try the above on a test pc https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/kb5005652-manage-new-point-and-print-default-driver-installation-behavior-cve-2021-34481-873642bf-2634-49c5-a23b-6d8e9a302872
  13. not light weight but sophos intercept x seems to do a good job
  14. sounds sily but take the pc off the domain and then add it back on then do a gpupdate force i just did a mdt image on a laptop and it would not apply all the policies until i took it off then back on
  15. you will need to find out who ordered them, they may have a list of the bios passwords. Seeing as its your first post, I don't think you will get much joy here without proving you work for a school.
