Olliedawg Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Windows 11 26H2 has reached GA! Windows 11, version 26H2 known issues and notifications | Microsoft Learn 3
ICTDirect_Joe Posted September 30 Posted September 30 The announcement of it being GA being on a bugs and issues page is quite funny to me. I saw the pop up on my PC last night, and given the bugs and issues on that page have been cleared I might give it a shot by the end of the week.

3s-gtech Posted September 30 Posted September 30 That'll be this one, that's already in 25H2: https://endpointweekly.com/blog/kb5124008-machine-secure-channel-break-windows-11-25h2.html
DalekSec Posted September 30 Posted September 30 26H2 already installed on my laptop and doing some testing FYI: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/whats-new/whats-new-windows-11-version-26h2
MYK-IT Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Showing as Feature Update within Intune.... No immediate rush to update, as 25H2 supported until October 2028 as previously mentioned.
jezi55 Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Just pushed out to a few devices using feature update on intune all seems ok so far, very quick update!
Cat_Jam148 Posted Thursday at 13:08 Posted Thursday at 13:08 (edited) So far so good - will say I've noticed around a 10% - 20% RAM usage drop on our 8GB machines running 26H2 compared to 25H2, and I've been told by the few staff that performance has improved. A welcome update for a change! Won't be moving the entire site over to it for a goodwhile but optimistic so far. Edited Thursday at 13:09 by Cat_Jam148 2 1
TwistedHelixis Posted Thursday at 14:36 Posted Thursday at 14:36 I have been installing 26h2 on any repaired laptops. All good so far.

gaz350b Posted yesterday at 09:26 Posted yesterday at 09:26 Installed it on a 4GB laptop and need to confirm how it runs compared to another of the same model but simple things like the start menu actually load now on a fresh login where as before you would have to wait for the machine to settle down.
