It took 25 minutes from the first reports to informing customers - that's also too slow imo.

Service is now "degraded" on status page : Bromcom Cloud Status Page

That's a surprise they've updated it - I absolutely do not believe that chart for uptime, at least the UK one anyway.

If Bromcom could just sort out the problem so that it doesnt keep happening that would be great. Poor service and poor quality product. The ''Team'' clearly dont actually fix the problem.

Hi all,

The team are looking into the cases raised and responses will be provided on the thread below.

Known Issue - Reports of Slowness Of the MIS 22/01/2024 (bromcomcloud.com)

Completely agree. Seems a weekly occurrence.

Resolved

Let me guess, no reason to the cause will be provided and nor will any commitment to resolving these long term, ongoing issues.

That's the annoying thing!

If it was shared why the slowness we could report this back to end users but when there is nothing as to why, it makes us question it even more.

Ah man, the whole Bromcom slowness has really been a right pain in getting our schools onboard and enjoying the product… Todays incident isn’t a one off. We have moved all 35 of our schools over to Bromcom and from the beginning they have all said, seems really slow around peak times, as in on a morning when every Bromcom user is trying to login and take a register…. We have spent countless hours trying all sorts of throttling on our firewalls to prioritise Bromcom traffic, turn things off so they can hog bandwidth but it makes literally no difference, and when you read through here and the community the common theme pretty much is that Bromcom is slow…

I mean what’s it going to take to sort out and get it better for everyone ? We have had support tickets opened and closed and just feel like going round in circles….

Come on Bromcom get on it and sort it out…

Yeah, it's become a bit of a joke with the schools now.

Support treat it like a school issue, ignoring the other 20 in the Trust having the same problem.

Some real basics issues with performance and thats before we get to the reliance on client side JS processing and the manage attendance module.

To be fair, I come to this thread before the official status site now.

Well I can reach the login page, but just get a runtime error after logging in.

Please can someone at Bromcom connect the status page to the system, once again we're showing 100% operational.

So much for Bromcom saying 'The Team has fixed the problem' clearly not.

They fixed yesterday's problem. Today is another day, so it doesn't count even if this is the same issue.
