Bit of fun for a Friday afternoon...

Actually doesn't have to be particularly strange, but I know you bunch of weirdos won't let me down (you can always say 'my friend' if it's particularly odd though)!

I'll start and I'm OK admitting this one...

My OH eats all the caramel off the top of a Twix and then eats the biscuit base.... I on the other hand bite off all the biscuit and then I'm left with all the caramel** (which is obviously the correct way to do it and the OH is just a bit weird)....

A bit like eating all the sponge off a Jaffa Cake and then eating the orangey bit...

Also the other day the OH left me to my own devices for dinner-time... unfortunately I couldn't be bothered to 'make' anything and reverted to true 'Men Behaving Badly' style cuisine... Spaghetti Carbonara on toast!

1 Carbonara ready-meal, microwaved and poured onto 2 slices of toast, covered in grated cheese with black pepper and a dash of BBQ sauce... it was actually lush (so much so, I have had it twice now)!

I am partial to eating a two-finger KitKat as you would any other bar, instead of breaking apart the two fingers and eating them individually...

Mrs_C who is [cough] years old, and should know better, can't eat a chocolate egg* without ending up looking like a 4-year-old. I don't know how she does it...

Lol, I eat the caramel off the top then nibble the chocolate from the sides, too.

I leave the crust on sandwiches till last.

For me, a Kit-Kat Chunky provides the most consistently satisfying "systematically-nibble-the-chocolate-off-each-side-in-turn" experience. You end up with a decent sized wafer, which itself can then be systematically deconstructed from the top layer down.

I also like to eat Cornish Wafers dry, on their own, and use the grid of perforations in the cracker to progressively reduce it from its circular shape to a little square. As neatly as possible, of course.

Whilst I enjoy a good Easter egg, I do find that they aren't conducive to this style of consumption: they only seem to become less regular in shape the more you try to breaks bits off neatly.

I guess melting and licking the chocolate using your tongue on a malteaser and then when there's no chocolate left finally eat the crispy wafer(?) left.

I eat mango chutney with basically any meat.

I crunch crisps in the bag so can use the packet as a funnel into my mouth

If sandwiches are cut then I eat the half sandwich end to end, if its a large sandwich then I eat the half sandwich end to end but alternate the sides

If a biscuit has a topping spilling over then I each round the biscuit before eating the rest.

Im very particular about cutlery I use so most of the time I take my own cutlery to restaurants - due to my hand getting burnt (along with arm and legs) a few years ago, my skin is still quite sensitive so any cutlery that is flat/edged is annoying to use.

Im sure I can go on with more!

I don't think it's strange and my son also does this....Eat everything on your plate in order of preference. Starting with the least nice to save the best for last :) Veg is always first :D

As I’ve got older I also eat Kit Kats like any other similar snack - no breaking the bars, just straight down. And it appears to wind my 11 year old up no end so I know provide photographic evidence every time.

If I’m not dunking (I always dunk) I like to take the top chocolate biscuit off from a bourbon biscuit. Kick / scrape off the chocolate cream off then eat the second biscuit ‘vase’

Respect for eating chocolate like a 4 year old. Me too.

I like to try and count chocolate chips in choc chip cookies by nibbling a bit at a time.

Reading this back, I’ve for no idea why I’m gaining weight [emoji23]

I'm the same.

And for some reason I learned with my knife and fork the "wrong" way around (fork in right hand and knife in left) - which is why I'm not allowed to lay the table anymore.

Mrs_C has a pair of identical twins. One is a lefty. She uses her knife & fork "properly", her sister backwards.

This!

I'm right handed and yet hold my cutlery the 'wrong' way.... so does my dad and I guess that's where it comes from.

If I'm honest I see both sides... as your knife is doing a lot of the work you would want it in the most dextrous hand, but hand to mouth is just as important and I always say if I were just eating with a fork I would probably have it in my right hand, so why when I add a knife in would I then swap?

Ah, you beautiful weirdos... I knew you wouldn't let me down!

I'm not as bad as when I was younger.... I will do this, but it's rare these days I ever eat a 'proper' meal that I can do it with, plus I've managed to 'adult' myself into thinking it's not necessary, so for something like a Sunday roast I will always mash the roast potatoes in with the gravy and use that to disguise the rest of the veg, but then I will eat everything in turn equally (but always saving a 'best bit' for last).

I also have have favourite combinations in each mouthful, like with my salad I will have chicken, tomato and coleslaw on the first, then beetroot, cucumber and lettuce on the next! Or with a fry-up, it has to be sausage with beans and bacon with egg...

I eat kiwis like apples, skin and all.

I bite the top and bottom off of chocolate covered biscuits and then drink my coffee through them like a straw (superior dunking method, don't knock til you try!)

For meals, I'll eat all of one food before starting the next - so if I'm eating hunter's chicken with salad and garlic bread, I'll eat all of the salad first, then the garlic bread and then the chicken.

Ok, so hear me out...

Nibble the individual outside lines, before going for the bit in the middle.

You can do similar with Lincoln biscuits, by taking one row at a time, and moving inwards.

*EDIT* Also, bourbons by taking the top off, and scraping the chocolate off with my teeth, before eating both halves. Custard creams are the same!

I eat Jaffa Cakes by nibbling the outside rim first.

I feel so much better for admitting that :D

Yes! Then nibbling the chocolate off the middle bit left to enjoy the nice orange centre :D

No! The middle is then eaten in two bites!

I have spoken.

I’m another one who eats with my cutlery in the ‘wrong’ hands. My partner does too, but she still insists that when I set the table (and it’s almost always me who sets it because I do the cooking), I set it with the fork on the left and knife on the right, despite the fact neither of us eats that way. If I don’t, I get moaned at.

Sorry I'm with @Brax, nibble the edges, then pick/lick the chocolate off eating the orange centre on its own (preferably multiple orange centres at the same time).

I can't eat burgers like a "normal" person... Saying that, it's rubbed off on the other half and she does it now!

I've got to eat the bun, burger, salad bun. The whole picking it up and eating it is too OTT for me!
