Onboard audio/audio drivers got better, really. It's sufficient for the vast majority of peoples' needs.

It's probably one of those things that audiophiles and music producers can tell the difference, but everyone else probably can't.

My Soundblaster Audigy 5.1 didn't even work in windows 10 last time I checked, I think they've give up.

I still wince when someone types Google in the address bar but know it's not worth trying to explain either the dedicated search box or that you can search directly from the address bar.
