6Foot2 Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Don't. You. Dare. Say. That. Next weekend is WSBK at Donington - I'd rather not get soaked. Link: UK weather forecast - Met Office UK Outlook for Saturday 27 May 2017 to Monday 5 Jun 2017: The sunny and very warm or hot conditions are likely to hold on in many eastern and south-eastern parts during the Bank Holiday weekend. However, we will already begin to see a thundery breakdown pushing in across northern and western parts during Saturday. Perhaps turning fresher, with drier and brighter weather moving into western parts on Sunday and Monday. A brief settled spell of weather is likely to follow, before we see unsettled conditions developing into the first week of June, with a mixture of sunshine and showers or longer spells of rain with strong winds, mainly in the north and west. Temperatures generally returning closer to normal, although in any sunshine it will become rather warm at times. 1
mikeprice Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Oh Great - everyone looking forward for a nice weekend and people start talking about camping and BBQ and washing cars now watch the weather forecast go steadily downhill JUST KEEP IT QUIET don't you know this forum has POWER - it is due to the psychic and telepathic abilities of the people who inhabit this area (ok - so they fail at time but everyone knows IT people are magical) and that's not even getting to mentioning certain mods. Words have power -especially on here!

The power of Bank-Holiday-Monday means the chances of it staying dry are minimal by default There is a 'belief' here that if it is a bank holiday AND there is a visiting fair in the local park, then Bank Holiday Monday will be wet.
unixman_again Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 SCSI channel numbers - I can't remember the last time I used SCSI.

elsiegee40 Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 I'll add "Isn't the house looking tidy" So will I. My daughter is 23. She moves out at the start of next month and gets replaced by her much tidier brother so it's not for much longer!

Don't worry, I've fixed it for all of you. I'm going abroad and the forecast is for thunderstorms where we're going. The weather's always fine when I'm not here[emoji53] 2
